sled trailer smashes and ripped any decent repair facilities ?
Sksman replied to 528rick's topic in Main Clubhouse
Do you have pictures? If you can buy the aluminum panels are you repairing yourself? Trailers Plus in Peterborough might be able to get similar parts. -
Good question. Seeing as there are no lights at intersection it might actually be safer when crossing.

Polaris Sno Check today @ 5pm EST - Who's getting one?
Sksman replied to Puggz's topic in Main Clubhouse
So was he able to determine where your sled is? Or when you will receive? Mine is in transit. Dealer was invoiced March 3 but as of March 28th sled was still sitting in Manitoba. Not that I am worried as now it will stay in crate in dealers storage facility until fall. I was told warranty for 2022 sleds must start by April 20 2022. -

Lets see how sled market reacts to interest rate increase and fuel price increase. Double whammy for some. Will dealers be stuck in the fall with a bunch of 2023 snow checks? Might be a good time to buy a new sled if I didn’t just buy 1. -

After debating in February on 2023 I decided to take a 2022 850 Matryx Assault instead. I knew not to expect it anytime soon when I did the deal so was not panicked all winter to get it. Hopefully it arrives before the fall. -
Has anyone ridden the A108 in last few days? I have a buddy up there that is looking for an alternate to the A.

When you look at the hotels in and around Cochrane, Smoothrock, Kap. Etc. You would think the local businesses would all help to keep the Canyon Loop open. Every hotel will will be plugged solid for the next month there. And all sledders spending big cash. Bigger this year with outrageous gas prices. Why is keeping the canyon loop open the responsibility of the sledders only? And wait any day we will hear of $7/litre or $8/litre at Base camp!

I have never been to Base Camp. Been to Cochrane a couple times now. I have no problem supporting a small business that is run smartly. Hell I would be happy to donate cash to the place. But based on what I have read and $6/litre gas forget it. I will never make the trip!

Saw a big cougar on Thursday night in New Liskeard at Ali’s. She was running with a couple others in a small pack.

The A Trail out of Temiskaming Shores, New Liskeard
Sksman replied to J-Fly's topic in Main Clubhouse
On Thursday afternoon we rode A trail south from Elk Lake all the way to New Liskeard. It was in great condition. Some drifting in fields but still in great condition. This morning we rode the A trail from New Liskeard to A101D. It was in great shape. From Latchford to Temagami was one of best condition trails I have ridden! Groomer operators deserve praise in that area. -

Anyone here own property in Quebec and where would you buy?

A couple friends have cottages in the Gracefield area. Beautiful area. Nice lakes. Some good sled trails. -
Don’t forget no cans or modified exhaust allowed.

Ox, I have the MX visor on my Mission helmet, it has 2 positions. I find the lower position great for blocking the sun on bright days. Yes I also use the sun visor but a lot of time prefer just using the MX visor to block sun from eyes. As for chunks, my Titan had the 1.8” Cobra track. No one followed that sled up close.

How did you have the vents set? i have not had seal issues and have only plugged in once. But am still trying to get the two vents figured out. Had a little frost at edges so I adjusted vents and it went away.

Thanks Nutter. i remember the Nevinson Road route. Hopefully with snow it is passable this winter. The Shadow Lake route would be something I will stay away from for now.

Does anyone know if the B104 east of Norland is going to open or why it remains closed? I know snow conditions could be a factor and it’s a section of road running. Its about 5.5km that remains closed. it would be nice to ride east from Head Lake through to Kinmount.

Baffin Men’s Size 12 SNOSTORM boots for sale

I have a similar Baffin boot size 12 that fits so I was a little disappointed. If you wear a 10 1/2 or 11 they would likely fit well. -

So true the feelings when you get on the sled and crack the throttle. My best friends wife was yelling at him and I last year “Don’t you 2 idiots know your both over 50” as we raced our sleds around their farm as we have done together for the last 40 years and every time one of us gets a new sled.
