  1. Here is a little video I saw on online, one my favourite sled shows to watch.
  2. Or you can look at as at least they are giving customers the option. I don’t believe the Doo 850 comes with a pull start and you have to pay for it as an option.
  3. I am sure you could power it off a portable Battery pack, I think Polaris used to have or still does one, there is likely other ones out there.
  4. much brighter for sure, I have to admit I am surprised one of the Helmet OEM's haven't done some sort of licensing deal with him on the light kit.
  5. A friend of mine is building and selling these, I have them on my helmet and my brothers, they work really well https://www.ljeproducts.com/
  6. Makes sense to cancel the show I agree, however had a bit of a heated exchange with the intrepid Snowmobiler on his FB page yesterday after his recent post.
  7. Awesome thanks very much for the info and checking them out.
  8. Flood's Landing just north of town, great people and good food, about 20 min north of town on your way north as if you are doing the east side of the canyon loop, they have a FB page as well.
  9. Lol damn I thought it may have been you..sorry we didn’t get to chat
  10. Come up with us in the am buddy
  11. great pics and report thanks for sharing.
  12. Looks like contact has been made, found the guy on 705 Snowmobile FB page and messages have been sent, Thanks Kris for posting it
  13. I am going to order the 850VR1 137 and likely the 650 VR1 137 for Mrs Nunz, and try it out, If the voice of reason prevailed I would order both 650's but that little extra on the top end is sure nice to have when needed. She will decide at the sled show in Barrie in a couple of weeks. From my ride it in January I would have no problem riding the 650 anyday.
  14. Yes it is, the 650 motor is so smooth but has tons on bottom end power, If you get the see the body work on the Matryx it is very automotive in finish, I think Polaris has really done a great job on the fit and finish and clean edges, My impression was they really listen to what their customers had been asking for and what they didn't like on the current platforms.
  15. I have my eyes on a 2021 Polaris for sure. The new 650 I am sure will be a big hit for Polaris, the motor is very very strong and will surprise quite a few people and the fuel and oil economy will sway some buyers.
  16. As an ambassador for one of the brands, In no way would I claim to be an expert, just a trail rider that happens to love the brand I represent, Any of my impressions are purely subjective based on my experience of riding the new models that were shown to us and had a chance to ride. I personally like that they sent a bunch of us to ride them and give real feedback on them. I think all of the OEM's are building great sleds and do well in the markets they compete in for sure. Are they all perfect absolutely not and do they all have issues, absolutely yes they do. I ride quite a few miles every year and on trails all over Ontario and Quebec and so yes I think my opinions or impressions of a sled are valid and not based on "wining and dining" as mentioned.
  17. Well it was hard keeping my secret for so long after being in Minnesota with a bunch of fellow ambassadors in January including CRZ aka Jason, it was a great time and for anyone looking at the new Matryx it is an incredible machine they have built, The new 650 Patriot motor is very strong and will surprising quite a few people for next year. Well done Polaris and if anyone has any questions feel free to reach out to me and I will do my best to answer any questions. Here is a couple of pics from my time at the event in January and one from the dealer show in Dallas.
  18. The release is scheduled for 7pm tonight, there will be a live feed on the Polaris Snowmobiles FB Page. I will also be sharing the release on my FB page for anyone that is interested. It will be a exciting evening for sure.
  19. We have stayed there numerous times and have never had a bad experience, we have rooms booked there for our upcoming trip in March. no complaints at all from us. Like IQ we may look at staying next door one time for the pool and hot tub. The heated garage is a big plus for us though.
  20. Had a great weekend, rode Saturday with Team Snowcrest board members and family ride down to Tailwinds in Orillia, and back, nice to get out and enjoy the trails with them all. On Sunday we did a 110 mile ride from home up the lakes and trails to Parry Sound and back down the big lakes to Gravenhurst, Had a late afternoon lunch at Crossroads in Rosseau, stopped in at the Ice Caves on Lake Rosseau, and Huckleberry Rock Lookout, again nice to ride and see sites we had not seen before.
