  1. I would be willing to make a wager that Mach Z (or Formula III?) is back for MY24.
  2. My buddys rode their motorcycles by HH yesterday and there were staff on site. Sounds like a bear got into the kitchen area a couple of days ago and really messed things up.
  3. I think 2 x 146s would fit but it will fill the trailer. My Backcountry 850 and Indy 137 fit in the TC167. You have to lift the back end of the front sled over but both sleds go in forwards.
  4. FWIW. I just put a deposit on a 2023 Triton TC167 with ski guides, spare tire and interior walls (to replace my stolen trailer) for not a lot more money than the Pro Starr trailer listed at B&K Power in Brodhagen. When I put down the money on mine they still had 1 more available. It might be worth a call to them. I am not going to post the price to not get them in any trouble but they were at least $1000 cheaper than anyone else I talked to. Even my BRP dealer buddy said no hard feelings buy it from them as he was only getting 2 TC167s and knew he could sell them for way more money.
  5. My dealer has only opened a couple of crates up and so far they do NOT have functioning DESS posts. He said that 90% of his current sleds are showing as missing parts.
  6. That is probably the best option today. There are some decent motels and restaurants in Lebel.
  7. The "fix" may be something not so major. Remember the stop sale was supposedly going to threaten the entire 22 sled season? I think that Polaris' fix was just to add a washer in the throttle assy or something like that. If this recall is caused by static electricity like they say it is, there may be a simple solution to fix it?
  8. Lumber is dropping but the trades guys are jacking up their rates so much that it still costs more to build anything today than it did a year ago. I am a Realtor and I know several developers who are pushing pause on starting any new developments right now. Falling prices and rising costs arent a good combo. They are more concerned about getting the houses that are already sold closed.
  9. Even though everything is "sold" right now, my dealer agrees that there are going to be lots of new sleds available this fall. He already is getting a call every week from someone saying that they might not be able to take their 23 sled in the fall and if someone else wants it today, they will walk away from the deal. One of my best buddies is a Ford dealer and he said that they have no inventory but the floor traffic has come to a grinding halt as well. The US Export has taking a huge tumble as well. He sold my 21 F150 Lariat for $59K a month ago and told me he could only get $52-53 max for it today.
  10. Keep seeing the same sleds, boats and ATVs sitting on Marketplace or Kijiji for weeks now and they are obviously not selling. Last year sleds were selling like hot cakes in July. My dealer is saying he is getting bombarded with calls from guys who bought units saying that they now want to trade their machines in as they cant sell their old ones.
  11. I used to hate muffs but I realized I hate cold hands even more. If I going to Cochrane area they are mounted on my sled before I load up. I cant seem to find gloves that keep my hands warm in -25c weather.
  12. Snowmobiling is becoming like owning a Harley Davidson. Every year the average age of the riders is increasing by 2 years. Young guys cannot afford to get into the sport and therefore have no interest in volunteering.
  13. Yep. No reason to give the OFA discount. My Ford dealer buddy can sell every F250 he gets for full list - no point in Ford rebating them at this point. 2 years from now may be a different story......
  14. I havent bought a QC permit since 2020 but I got about $38 back in a cheque. Every day you wait to apply for the rebate, the amount refunded decreases as well.
  15. You can only claim back the insurance rebate on full season permits now.
  16. I have not heard many good things about those tracks. I wonder if Composits will even be allowed in Canada seeing as they are made in Russia?
  17. Royal must have got the memo as tracks are now not included in their 15% off sale.
  18. I cannot believe how expensive the 23 Cats are considering they are running a good, but yet old platform?! They are quite a bit more $ than the comparable Yamaha and Yamaha was offering a 3 year warranty during their pre-season sale. A ZR8000 is more money than a 2023 MXZ850XRS. Makes no sense to this guy?
  19. Talked to my buddy today and his Gamma Rep told him that tracks are going up 30% in the fall and are going to be just as hard to get as they were last season if not worse.
  20. Yes. Palmerston Motors is building that new shop.
  21. haha. I was thinking the exact same thing. You would swear that he was involved with that place somehow. Custom John, Joe Exotic and the Basecamp guys are all cut from the same cloth.
  22. Its becoming one of those loops that you take a newbie/first timer and then the novelty wears off it pretty fast. The $6/L for fuel turned me right off this year. Chances of me doing the loop next year are 50/50 at best and 90% that I will just use my Linq can if I go at all.
  23. These guys just cant help themselves... PBR really should consider just shutting that trail down next year. Truthfully, with the Base Camp hassles and the hydro work/logging that took place on both the east and west side this year, the trail was actually one of the roughest trails up there this year.
  24. If the trail is red - it is closed.
  25. They want it registered and paid out so it will qualify for any Snow Check programs and for statistics. If it’s not registered Polaris cannot say it is SOLD when sending out shareholder and industry/market share reports.
