  1. I think with a Doo you can get a dess key programmed so it detunes the sled as well
  2. I have not had issues to date either - knock on wood. But I have been with people that have and there was no fixing it trailside so a tow was in order. Truthfully, I actually do not use my reverse much, backing out of the trailer & maybe parking the sled at hotel or restaurant, but usually just slide the rear or ski around by hand.....might be a harder task with a 4s and another year older....
  3. I think the discussion is surrounding the general thoughts of accidents and not so much specific to this one or making assumption about the unknown regarding the details of it. Each year there is usually same thoughts and discussions about these - and hand signals too actually.
  4. There were plenty of that last year - more than I have experienced to date and many of riders appeared to not be younger ones, albeit hard to tell on a corner where a sled is on the wrong side coming straight at you with a helmet on while I am trying to maneuver out of the way to avoid collision. Last year was a year that I really liked getting out early and back at the truck by noon with 100miles on the odometer when the trails really picked up.
  5. The 850 would have been engine reverse with the electronic reverse button. I have had all three over the years - manual handle reverse, electronic reverse with a button using an actuator and the engine reverse.....plus again now the electronic reverse with an actuator on the 900T. The 2022 900T looks like they use a wiper motor as the actuator - if it fails, looks like you remove linkage to make it manual in a pinch.
  6. I can’t compare obviously, but the throttle and response seem very nice.
  7. Lol, I never even noticed that 😜
  8. Even at 100 for a new rider is much…. add a +1 on the back, not good at all with assuming minimal experience, icy corners, etc,… But sledding is a risky activity no matter age, experience, conditions, etc…
  9. The report is confusing, I’m thinking the male passenger was okay based on minor injuries yet driver had critical injuries….might have typed he instead of she in error. Regardless though, very unfortunate.
  10. Very nice - I am sure a happy day!
  11. Very nice Blake! Curious, why did you decide on the 850 vs. 4 stroke? And I see you have the 1+1 seat installed - dealer happen to have any more of those lying around
  12. Keep us all safe from one another for sure...... The need for these in Southern ON really makes you scratch your head - but the budgets for the police and fire tend to have no boundaries.
  13. what you can sell for does not always match the book value. I would leave it personally - when is the last time you wrote off a sled or it was stolen?
  14. There are so many things in life right now that are affected by Covid, whether you agree with it or not. It is hard to side step the obvious or ignore the elephant in the room.
  15. About a month after me….Same with delivery
  16. Curious, when did you order yours? Mine is the same sled, so wondering.
  17. Do you not still have one of your old sleds?
  18. Here ya go. Once you unclip the outer cover, there is a zippered flap that has a pouch. Inside the compartment is another zippered pouch at the rear plus a hard plastic divider at the front that unsnaps.
  19. I see Trudeau and other politicians simply doing what the masses are looking for in this regard…..this group has caught an ear that is being listened too. I am seeing so many people with such a hard opinion right now - would be great to see that disappear. But no more talk about this silliness here…. Whats the latest news on the Poo team getting what they all hoped for at Christmas
  20. This might hit a few cords the wrong way, but in order for people to come out of this Covid bubble, this is what might need to happen. Same as more people getting Covid with the new “variant”, albeit with mild symptoms so people understand anyone can get it and more importantly get past it - stop passing so much judgement on one’s choices surrounding this. edit: sorry, I know wrong thread for this but seemed fitting to the discussion.
  21. Surprised there has not been any pictures floating around from that area with updates, etc..... Anyone that I know or talk to that usually are up over the holidays state there is more socializing than actual riding anyways....first time getting out, catching up, sharing stories, etc.....
  22. The Beamtech are a simple swap - no kit from all that I have read.
