  1. Emissions issues I’m sure put aside, the 700 engine was an overachiever, but with the newer motors, it was quite obvious that the 700 lacked the low end grunt, but did extremely well mid to top. Can’t see any manufacturers coming out with a triple.
  2. A buddy of mine I thought mentioned a few weeks ago that his 2023 loaded Rene XRS was 27 out the door…..close comparison I’d say, Mach seller is out to lunch, imo.
  3. Ya, I have a TC118, been a great trailer. Only bone to pick is that plastic strip up both sides covering screws that cracks from the sun and needs replacing every few years.
  4. Wonder if sold pending pick up or waiting to be sold.
  5. Sounds like an expensive month coming up !
  6. Interesting point for sure - belt might be only a 2-stroke option.
  7. Cannot comment on the trailer, but is there still a huge issue with getting them like there was last year? May not have many choices if the inventory issue is still going on.
  8. I guess that explains only the 600cc class engine for now - no possible 650, 850, etc.... Definitely good for the sport, always had cats myself, now on a Doo - which so far, very happy with, but who knows what happens down the road. Hopefully the belt drive system also takes care of the problematic issues surrounding the old one. I have not heard anything, but will Yami still be partnering with Cat with the new chassis when it is released to the public market in the 23/24?
  9. Yep. Hopefully dealers have a full supply of free dess post locks to supply in lieu of this.
  10. Haven’t look much at it yet, but great to see a new chassis. I understand that for now it only comes with 600cc engine, no 800 (or possibly TBD bigger cc engine) or 4 stroke. With the more narrow chassis design, might need to offer a wide body version like Doo has. Looking forward to seeing some on the trails this year!
  11. Thanks. so not an ideal start this year either. I wonder how badly that shut down/virus affected things, can’t see that affecting missing parts, but ya never know….maybe they couldn’t accept/scan parts arriving needed for sleds.
  12. My guess is being cheap, not willing to pay more than they have too to complete sleds already paid for and delivered, at the expense of clients?!?! I know in my field and the various things the chips affect, the chip shortage is still there, but the parts are still coming, better now than before, just not back to pre-covid eta’s on those goods.
  13. Agree 100% - I am not sure if the 2023's have it either actually, maybe someone with inside scoop can confirm, like @scottyr with close connection with his dealer. I have read that the 2023's have the missing shocks that the 2022's are still doing without, or at least the shocks that the 2022's were supposed to have.
  14. Anyone looking at possible changes/modifications to their 2022's for the upcoming season? Doesn't sound like all those with the non functioning DESS posts will be resolved for this season either......
  15. I have a few times dropped in Tory Hill, always went North from there though - checked out the trail south once and found it be quite a bit lower on snow and not as good, but with less snow, not surprising. Curious, if it is apparently an ATV issue, is that just an excuse to also shut down the sledding portion use of the trail too - perhaps been a long time coming? Regardless, not good for that area.
  16. Yami-cat perhaps now that they’ve been tainted…. We’ve helped get some Yami’s going though on those cold morning start ups….conair’s are a wonderful tool….lol
  17. Hey now, be kind All of my cats have got me home - even towed a few others (Cat, Doo & Poo) along the way.... I do not think I have towed a Yami yet though.....
  18. Thought it was working finger hands - you know those Cats like to leave you stranded on the side of the trail & need a little work/massaging - another downed Cat!
  19. What is the story to that?
  20. I'd expect that from a Cat rider, not a Poo rider....lol
  21. Likely something as simple as installing an insulator between chassis and gas tank to reduce the risk that might be lacking currently. Static is always a risk everywhere, one of the apparent reasons you fill your gas can on the ground vs in truck, reduce the possible risk. Just one more reason costs are spiraling out of control, we must makes things perfect so it meets today’s expectations, if not, let’s fix it so it is at any cost…..
  22. I have a pair of these, they are good, always found the warmer side of glove was more stiff/restrictive, which is expected - no issues with them otherwise and still in good shape. They don’t work as well as thin gloves with muffs for me, but I recall you not liking the muffs.
  23. Lol, I hear the person might work out of one of the 400 auto park dealers, and a real nice guy!
  24. The cold guards are good, I had/used a set for a few years, but honestly, they don’t compare to a muff if you’re finding your hands to be cold. With the CG’s they were perfect for a few years, than I started to notice hands feeling colder more often on the real cold days, so figured I’d try the kimpex muffs, they were way better, than bought the Doo ones for current sled….wearing thin small gloves and muffs, works just great - having to only wear the smaller gloves was just an added bonus with the muffs.
  25. Them mowers sure can be stressful, almost as bad as waiting on a seadoo in August or a sled in February…..lol Just poking ya SF
