  1. Yup. Good stuff! Expensive but you get what you pay for. Cheaper stuff is exactly that.
  2. Gary always remembered the anniversary of my brother’s death. Fifty years ago this Remembrance Day November 11th. 11th day, 11th month, 11 years old. That rock cut on the 400 is still there. One day I will remove it. News at 11. 😢
  3. You got that right ski!!! Proper tire installation, pressures and balancing is vital to trailer and tire performance. When I bought my tandem boat trailer from the manufacturer, the trailer tires nearly shook the back end off the truck on the way home. I took the tires off, mounted them properly, balanced them, reinstalled them and torqued them. I run them at the maximum pressure of 50 psi to control tire wear and decrease flat spotting when it sits idle. The Carlisle tires are certainly nothing as far as quality is concerned but are useable if you are careful with them. Whatever life you get out of them is what it is. Then replace them with something else.
  4. Load of Yamahas heading south on the 400 last Wednesday. Nice to see!
  5. She doesn’t want half. She wants it all!!
  6. Speak for yourself!!! I think it would be easier if I went out and got a job!!!! 😓
  7. It is quite obvious that some people have all the answers but are not in the retail sector to have first hand experience.
  8. How did your summer sucks party go on the weekend Nunz. As luck would have it, I had a previous event that I could not get out of. I hope all had a great time.
  9. I raced with/against the VanDolders. Good guys. Hard racers. True to the yellow breed of sleds!
  10. I wish I could go this year Nunz but we have an engagement prearranged that I cannot get out of. Send my regrets to Karen as well please.
  11. I usually fill up the truck and then the small engine gas cans. That usually gets all the regular gas out of the pump and hoses although they really aren’t pumps. They are metering stations. For the dollar or so that I leave on the table because there is still some premium in the hose and metering station, I can’t be bothered by the nickels and dimes for the wasted time required to capture it all.
  12. The only error in the case that I stated ski was that the fuel supplier wasn’t checking the additives that were supposed to be added to the premium fuel. Finally the chemical supplier asked why they had bought no additive in months. Busted but was that ever kept hush hush.
  13. It is ok to add premium to regular tanks but illegal to add regular to premium tanks for sale. We had a time that when we were purchasing premium, it was actually regular. I approached them on it and they denied it. Of course they have more money than I do so what was I going to do about it.
  14. Just like they said about cars years ago. You pay $10,000.00 for an ownership card and build the car (sled) with the option list and price list!! 😁
  15. There are some pretty ritzy cottages on that land. I don’t know if trailers of any kind would be allowed but it doesn’t cost anything to ask the questions.
  16. I really wouldn’t worry about dealing with WLI. They have been reasonable to deal with for years.
  17. It would appear to me, and I have been wrong many times, that Textron picked up Cat for a tax write off and a dealer network for their ATVs. Much like Joe Hrudka did to Rupp Industries back in the 70s. Difference being, Hrudka was not in any ATV business.
  18. Same as this reported from Horseshoe Valley. Non in Orillia.
  19. I will reserve comment but I suspect my knees may disagree. Of course it has been a while since I sat on a Renny.
  20. Gee thanks! It might take a bunch of convincing to get me on a doo but with you being so gracious, how could I say no.
