  1. Talked to a dealer today - said he can't keep ink in his pen since the release of the new line-up - order after order coming in - going to be a good year for dealers - which is nice to see.
  2. Licensed or not is not the point - that will have zero bearing in the end. But I am curious, which I am sure he is too, which is it...... 1. If he has no license - is he a legal restaurant? Did they shut down a "business" that was never an actual business? did they shut down a "restaurant" - openly defying an order, or did they shut down a guy having a bbq for his friends? Interesting.......
  3. 21 years of claims and I can count on one hand how many people have said " you know, it's my fault" lol
  4. I think that is my jacket model now that you say it - sounds familiar. It's a great jacket - I won't get rid of it anytime soon. Depending on the weather - if -10 or colder - I wear a t-shirt and sweater of some sort - above -10 it's either just a t-shirt or a thin long sleeve t-shirt type.
  5. It will always have inherit risk and it will always be someone else fault ( in our own heads )
  6. 100% - I think in my own poorly laid out post - this is what I was getting to. I'm must glad to see the locals who live there are getting to ride. be well - be safe
  7. Saw an awful lot of sleds out and about in Langton area yesterday - looked like a lot of fun and trails looked great, was jealous.
  8. I totally agree and understand 100% where you are coming from and what you are saying. When those businesses close, they know who they can thank for that. For me, I'm caught in my own head with it - and I know I'm alone here - and I am okay with that, but part of me says "support the local businesses" - the other part of me says supporting anything in that PHU allows this one idiot to continue forward - it just doesn't cut it for me - the only thing I can do is speak with my wallet - he lives there - he did this - he made the decision, and as long as he holds that position, then I'm out.
  9. Last time I checked your pass said ONTARIO Federation of Snowmobile Clubs. I guess the "buy where you ride" - will now be for your 50 mile loops - gated at both ends. Each district can be it's own Haliburton Forest - yippee!
  10. Give an example? Cause millions of people are moving around from place to place in this province every day, what is it exactly you see from people?
  11. I have a Klim jacket - can't recall what model, but I love it, have NEVER been cold in it. My kid has a new FXR Floatex - seems to be very warm as well.
  12. Glad to hear for the locals - should have never been closed in the first place. For anyone else travelling to the area - make sure you stock up on everything you need to ensure you don't spend a single cent in the area. Cheers
  13. You are Canadian Citizens, go ride and stick the boundaries up your you know what.
  14. Ooooh. There is no "qualified" medical data to support his decision - anywhere - he should be held to the fire for it.
  15. Trails are groomed - you can decide if it's done for you. Ride em
  16. Like I said, for some, and there is a new sucker born everyday. I haven't bought a new one because of kids sports and time, but when those free up - I don't think I will be willing to drop 25k to get back in and that'll be it. I think it's a little easier if you're still actively in and trading every year or two - but to step in now at those prices - people will say forget it and I highly doubt you're attracting any new blood.
  17. Pricing is out of control - and getting out of touch with reality in my opinion. There will always be "those" who can - but at those prices, that piece of the pie is getting smaller, costs tethered to closing of trails is slowly nailing the coffin door shut.
  18. Well, what emergency services would be necessary if they are closed to user groups? ZERO logic..............
  19. Police have a job to do, and a tough one at that - but this is not policing - it's a sad state is what it is.
  20. Yup, found some pretty serious slush in a few spots - one I actually thought was open water - but I know now it wasn't - but it was very sloppy off the beaten path.
