I think for emergency use I would either use the satellite service on an iphone or the inreach.
Dedicated Sat phones are way too expensive unless you are working somewhere totally out of service range with no wifi.
My buddy has a cabin north of Red Lake with zero cell service and he kept a Sat phone there for emergency but now says the Iphone works fine now.
So, if this is a "phone" thing through Globalstar (purty sure that T-mobile is through Starlink) then - is this a service that you buy from Globalstar directly?
Does Globalstar have a decent reputation for coverage these days?
When I left Globalstar, they were FAR from what they were in 2000.

I am fine running it another year too - but I'm also planning to ride a lot more this winter and we're doing the RAP and likely extending it too, so I want something that should have very little chance of failing. I think my Cat would be fine because it has never let me down, not once, but it's in my head......
6000 miles on her now
And yes - shocks have been serviced.
My son's new ride is an SP.
I think the shocks will be just fine for him - he's less than 150 pounds still
And now that he has a 650 - I can't not have more motor than him!
I have hand and will keep looking
