Modern Mach Z rides terribly . Heavy soft and unresponsive.. Its still a great all around sled.

No way your 650 gets the same as a Non supercharged 900..

Looking to run up Holland River today onto Simcoe and access the 413 trail off the lake in Barrie. Anything I should be on the lookout for, ice safe all the way up?   TIA Steve  

Could be that your dealer isn’t bleeding your system after working on it???  To do so you have to elevate the front right side of the sled and run it like you’re saying.  If not elevated air can get stuck in the heat exchanger.  I’ve done that and my coolant levels are stable.
