    • I’m ticked off with Tekrider and their Tekvest. I’ve cancelled my order, but haven’t heard back from them, nor received the refund yet.  Originally I emailed them twice and called multiple times for sizing inquires and had no replies. I found out on this forum that they had moved from Minden to Kitchener, and they were still in business but slow with replies. Ordered online on Nov 16 an item that was in stock and ready to ship and provided my measurements, being concerned the vest would not be long enough for my 6'4" height. Received an email the next day that their standard vest would accommodate my height.  After that it went south....the vest never came. Multiple emails back and forth, apologies because they were moving to KW, (that started in August), then my vest accidentily got shipped to another customer in Michigan, apologies for communication issues with their shipping department.  Still unconvinced about their sizing length, I sent them a photo with a measuring tape showing my torso length. Another delay as apparently their tech for sizing wasn't available, but guaranteed the standard vest would work and is being shipped. (2 weeks ago) I phoned them last friday and they assured me I would have my vest by tuesday of this week. Here it is friday, no vest, no shipping info…no communication….they have to be the most incompetent business I’ve ever dealt with or they are habitual liars…….dunno which
    • The affected member stood up at the AGM and made a speech, pointing out that the OFSC had made the decision to close trails and sell off groomers without input from members, and AFTER the deadline for making submissions to bring the topic up at the AGM. Options offered to help keep groomers in the fleet, and opportunities for clubs to make suggestions were never considered. Then that the Toronto snow show, the member wanted to discuss the closures and situation with someone from the head office from Barrie. There was only 1 person there, a female staff member sitting at a table having a sandwich. He sat down and showed a video of an MPP standing up in the HOC and discussing the trail closures and wanted to know why the OFSC was not doing more advocating to the provincial gov't. He is a passionate snowmobiler, who does more for our local trails than anyone, and he wanted to get his point across, and be heard by the head office. Apparently the staff member was thin skinned and complained and he is now banned from anything to do with groomer operations, district meetings, club activites etc... He supplies the storage for our groomers, a place to work on them, the location for our club meetings, the clubhouse is on his property, stores supplies for the trails, puts in countless unpaid hours organizing our trail system, and being the groomer co-ordinator. Without his participation, this club shuts down. Period.
    • The short answer = yes
    • Can you provide some background narrative on this?
    • I have also just received a message from a club member from the Havelock club that Ryan has also banned their president from any OFSC activities. These are people who spend time and money without reimbursement to better the sport, unlike CEO Ryan, who just gets paid to sit at the top and play dictator
