Insurance company would only ever send a Certificate of Insurance to the NAMED Insured.

I believe, your insurance will send them to you, but not to the various people, corps, etc,,, that request the COI of you......but I know for us, it is automatic that our insurance automatically sends us updated COI each year upon renewal, that we pass along to the appropriate people. We normally try to update that list beforehand to avoid a bunch of extra COI generated that are not needed though. 

So there is a landowner tool? i.e. a portal they can access? If that is the case - then I agree -  a copy of the COI could be made available there for download/print  

Each Year I have to request a COI from our district so I can send to specific landowners. It would be nice if the Landowner tool had a check box to automatically send a COI to these landowners. It would sure help me as I am just an unpaid volunteer with too much to do in season prep. I have setup 5 to 10 year MOU's so automatic sending of these files would be appreciated. I think I will suggest this at our next meeting as I have a few other suggestions for the landowner tool.  Jerry
