It was kids for us. So damn busy raising them there was no time for "us". After the youngest moved out we were left sitting there looking at each other like strangers. We had to have a discussion about whether or not we even liked each other. We decided we made a good team on the basis that all our kids survived and the family is tight. Our kids refer to her as spicey and me a lunatic.  Sooo we got a dog and are stronger now than ever. lol
