    • That would make you the "grumpy old man". lol I'm sure anyone that rode in the 90's had an obnoxiously loud triple at some point. More than 1 in my case. The muscle sled era was in full swing and folks seemed more tolerant. Most land owners also seemed to be more involved in the sport back then as I recall. There were unsanctioned radar runs and drags regularly. Even the local dealers would show up. I had an 89 Mach1 with pipes, jetting and head that made the neighbourhood children cry when I fired it up. Drove my wife nuts when our own 4 kids suddenly turned into feral cats looking for a place to hide. She hated the smell of AVgas that always seemed to creep into the house too.  So ya...I get the appeal. lol
    • So it was an accurate recollection 😂 I imagine must have been on the gilford side, the usual spot.
    • Cans = bad situation for trails, fair that we all feel that way.  but I can totally get what spidy is saying, we were all “younger” and did things because it felt right or cool, even though it was bad - we just live in a world where this particular topic is detrimental to the sport, now more than ever before.  I ran a can when I was “younger”, I know, shame on me and I’m not proud of that, but honestly at the time I didn’t think it was such a bad thing, and frankly, I don’t recall it being as big a deal then as it is now -  but I get it and why it is so bad for our sport.
    • When the trails get shut down due to the fools with canned exhausts, we will all be sitting on our asses . Wondering why did we allow  a few to ruin it for the rest of us .
    • Chris Ledger posted that he was radar running on Cook’s Bay last weekend. That’s Chris’s 2026 Doo in the pictures.
