irREVerent
Anybody know why the L22 crossing of the Mattagami River (just south of Hwy. 101 bridge) in Timmins continues to be red on the ITG?...even though the rest of L22 is green, on both sides of that river crossing? That short river section seems to have been red for the whole season. Any info much appreciated...TIA.
Rich Saul
Was told thin ice last week when we rode into town. They have a good sidewalk route over the bridge..

I've been watching that as well. We'll have to see how things go. If it's anything like the sidewalk crossing on TOP C by Cedar Meadows, I'd just as soon avoid it. Checking the ITG from Foleyet to the Bon Air is 152 klicks. We can get fuel at the Shell before arriving @ the motel.

Best just avoid it. Was told only froze over 2 days when we got there a week ago yesterday..

LOL...sorry Rich, I should have been clearer...I was actually asking whether the sidewalk "detour" over the bridge was snow-packed or bare. Yes. Sidewalk was perfect. Not as bad as the one on north side of town. Groomed up to both sides..
RAMSOMAIR
River was wide open at both bridges 2 weeks ago when we were there

The L22 was red north of Riverside, but green south of the river. Not sure how the actual river crossing was marked on the ITG.
Gadgetman
Taking the L24 from Super 8, up to C to exit Timmins, then to Folyet was 151.1km when I did it about 9 Feb. Edited February 24, 2020 by Gadgetman
irREVerent
Any update on the bridge "detour" on L22 in Timmins, to cross the Mattagami River? Is it still groomed up to and across the bridge?
