TBT.  Us freeing a sled that was sitting in slush for 1 week.  This was north of Aubrey Falls Ontario.

Background:   On the day it got stuck, the owner worked for 2 hours only to get 30 feet of progress.  His feet were so frozen that when he walked to shore, he didn't realize he was walking in raw feet.  His boots were behind him on the lake in the slush.

Dan, I've ridden thru there on TOP F , but only been on 129 for a short stretch. Drove from Elliot Lake to the Soo via the "backroads" back in the 80s.

Revrnd, I'm sure you enjoyed that back-route ride. It's certainly a very scenic area and is popular with the locals.  Part of it is on the 'Deer Trail Tour' and is traveled by many motorcyclists via highway 639 to 546 down to Iron Bridge.  Glad you had a chance to see it.

what part of 201 did you do or did you do all of it from C103D to C. It passes some friends of ours on Little Whitefish and the trail runs the ice a bit there. Is the ice safe yet.
