Domino
As a community information notice.... FYI Amsoil. We have Members that sell Amsoil. You may want to stock up if you use it Canadian Price Adjustment June 1Posted: April 10, 2015 - Announcement The Canadian dollar has demonstrated some stability at its current exchange rate with the U.S. dollar. While AMSOIL has refrained from adjusting Canadian prices for as long as possible, the significant change in the exchange rate combined with increased raw-material costs have forced AMSOIL to implement a price increase in Canada effective June 1. The increase is expected to be in the 8-12 percent range. Every effort will be made to keep the price adjustment as low as possible. Significant changes in the exchange rate or raw-material costs in the coming weeks will affect the percentage of the pricing change, so alert your customers now about the pending increase. New prices will be available in early May.

Viperules700
I just bought a new tractor. They tried to play the exchange game too. It has been on the lot since last august, so they honored last years price. John Deere raised new units by 15 percent starting April 1st. Funny how the trade is worth the same even though new units are climbing. All a big game.
Wildbill
Ok if it came in before the dollar went down it is should be sold as such if it needs to be imported now it will have to see an increase as it does cost more we just bought hundreds of helmets at the old price for next year as well we still have four new boats and some quads at the old price we are selling them as such as it is how it should be

When manufactures raise prices it is usually raised on current inventory too, which isn't right but they get away with it, if people pay the new price. Fair only if they lower the price on an existing unit when the our dollar goes up. How do you sell inventory when the price drops and you are stuck with last years inventory at the higher prices? It does not always work out...
