Bearnecessities
Fuel is available in Crosshill. They are closed Sunday. I believe they close every evening around
PISTON LAKE CRUISER
Best other than those previously noted is to go into St. Jacobs from the trail in Henry St.(past the Home Hardware warehouse) to the main street. Cross the street and turn right and ride out to the UPI gas bar. They are open till 8PM I think. Another option is to ride the trail over to Ernie's Esso in Elmira. That would be the least road travel.
Wildbill
The legacy of expensive regulation and no profit in gas is that many small towns do not have gas
Blackstar
That's true Bill. There used to be gas in both Heidelberg and St Clements. Heidelberg has been closed for a number of years now (about 10 or 12 I think). St Clements pulled the plug a couple years ago. Old steel tanks that pass the expirey date are not insurable and are far more costly to replace than the profits will allow.
Turbo Doo
Ernie's Esso in Elmira would get my nod for less road running. Just a few minute ride..
