ravinerat
Lots of frozen stuff here in the Barrie area. Wish a few more trails were open here as I would have gone for a blast. RR
dweese
Saw a few sleds on the street today, can't actually ride on Belleville city streets, but cops would have a hope in hell stopping them, with the ice.

Wildbill
Makes you wonder about the delivery charge when they fail to deliver. as a kid I remember several times sleeping in our snowsuits on the farm in Uxbridge without power for several days . skidooboy
Been without power since Sat night looks like a war zone at the house. They say we wont have power until Saturday or Sunday (estimated). Its going to take all summer for us to clean up our mess at the house. I have a small generator for some power but, it wont power the well so we have no running water. Texting this from my phone. Ski

Viperules700
My power has been out less then 2 hours the whole year. Just serviced the genset last week and it is on standby, didn't need it so far. I live 5km from the main new transformer station, so the power rarely goes out now. whiskywizard
This event is going to result in a spike of generator sales. I should have installed a system last year.
skidooboy
finally got power back today about 230-300pm. 6 days without grid power and running water. wasnt too bad but, i know it can be done, and i know what i need to do for next time to be better prepared. thanks to the crews that came from all over to help out with the record number of downed lines in our area. hoping those on the maple side of the border, all get their power soon too.
