Canuck
North of Timmins and the north part of Algonquin Park are the bright spots for Ontario snowmobiling. The rest is a sea of red.

How accurate is the reporting on the north side of the park though.

Techdenis007
8-10 inches ,eh ? How come we live 2 hours NW of Timmins, and get missed by EVERY frikken snowstorm this year ? Since the most recent rains & thaw, we got 2 dustings of snow, about 1 1/2 inches total. Not happy.

Can they be ridden without needing sliders every 100 miles? Thanks.

awiseone
Hi All, Was just up in Cohrane and Timmins from Feb 9th - Feb 16th snow and trails were AMAZING! Stayed at the North Adventure Inn for the week and had a fantastic time. New owners Ken and his right hand man Bobby made us feel very welcome along with the ladies that made sure our drinks were topped up (note kitchen only open for breakfast and for dinner + bar opens evening), they also took custom food and beverage orders and had it there the next day....that was cool! Hot tub rocked especially after putting 320 kms on in a day for 6 days, new large flat screen tv's in the loft rooms, heated shop was great. Best of all made some really good friends while up there. I recommend this place as it is not only a snowmobile adventure, socializing after the fact was great too, great people great food great time great trails! definately going back next year....with 20 people this time! should be a blast!
