  1. Thanks for all great years half way! Hopefully we will meet again! Cheers
  2. I went a looking and that’s what I found from 2018. Ski is very close, hope he don’t mind me digging that up. No where near 260 km’s. Ski math it is 218 km’s which is doable on most sleds and if you carry a few l of fuel it won’t be an issue. Hope ofsc can keep bottom end of loop open. Cheers
  3. Something not right with your distances. You must have used wawa 5 and back tracked on wawa lake. When I last rode it in 2018 I swear it was 60 miles from chapleau to halfway snd another 70 miles to wawa for a total of 208 km’s. Then another 37 miles or so to dub. I think my total for day was around 270 km’s, which would be dub to chapleau. This is how it got it’s name too.
  4. That is doable without stopping at half way for gas for most newer snowmobiles. Question is who will groom that section and where will fuel come from for groomer with half way gone. Still abit of hope but black creek is for sale too and has been for awhile. This won’t help thier situation either.
  5. Wowsie never had any issues with mine. Does it do that with a cold engine by any chance?
  6. I thought do had that since 900 came out. My 2017 has electric reverse. I call it electronic reverse.
  7. I believe turbo versions aren’t wireless throttle that we have on our 900 aces. It is connected by a wire I believe. I think only etec’s and regular 900 ace uses the wireless one still. I could be wrong, since doo keeps changing things. Really a step backwards since I enjoy easy throttle on regular 900 ace. Yeni can use snowmobile all afternoon and her small hands don’t get sore either. I think next time I go with smaller 125 horsepower turbo or go back to an etec. Most likely keep my 900 ace grand touring forever, since it is a great sled with 40 L tank in xs chassis and air suspension and all luggage it has including side cases. Really need larger tank with riding double. Most of my range was around 200 km’s with two of us on it in southern Ontario. I can get about 50 km’s more on average by myself depending on conditions. I can carry enough stuff for three guys too. Great sled.
  8. Never got pulled over but was in middle lane on highway 400 and cop came up to side of me in fast lane and started pointing fingers at me. Then we realized he wanted us in slow lane, so moved over and he left us alone. Only happened once. Not sure what that was about since trucks use middle lane all day long too.
  9. Transports can’t see behind them either. Down sides yes but not behind.
  10. No one gives you a hard time in Quebec about intimidating trail patrol officers or anything along that line? You aren’t first person to say this and it is a decent idea no doubt. I wear a safety jacket like that when I ship chickens. Definitely makes a difference as far as viability goes. Maybe it is time for an OC bulk order with our names on back. 👍
  11. I be happy with a collision avoidance system that would automatically slow sled down and move it right when it detects oncoming traffic.
  12. What’s hottest stock’s any one owns lately. My biggest winner is nvidia. Done about 30 percent in last year. Should do well this year too with all kids staying at home and playing video games.
  13. I agree 5 years is max I would do on a vehicle. All my vehicles are paid for. Have nothing under 10 years old except a red plastic Ferrari with a few thousand km’s on it. Paid cash for that one, since discount was close to 30 k at time.
  14. Lots of places offer a cash discount I find. Use card loose that cash discount. Average is 2 percent usually. For two percent, I gladly right cheque. Even our feed company has a cash two percent discount that only applies on cheques or e transfers. Pay credit card loose that two percent and they will gladly take card. Some would get a free trip In no time with current commodity prices.
  15. Faceplant market place as a engine available Running condition. If you have it! Asking 450 So might get it for 300. Then a guy in Barrie has a whole blower for 700 running condition.
  16. Yeah got to love that as low as 0.99 percent.
  17. That’s what they usually do. Warranty kind of useless anyways on a snowmobile. Most items they consider normal wear and tear. Out of all snowmobiles, I have owned only had a few minor things covered under warranty, usually happens on first few thousand km’s too.
  18. Was there a one time account setup fee?
  19. What are groomer wages anyways! Asking for a friend!! Some one said rookie to pro wage doesn’t vary by much.
  20. At least they aren’t towing people. I wonder what charge is a nights stay at full rate as per instructions above?
  21. That’s true. I volunteered for a local club in this area in 2008 ish. I went to first two meetings and volunteered to do a few things and club told me they had to have a secret vote with members and decide if that was ok. That turned me off so never bothered to go back to next meeting. No wonder there is a shortage of volunteers.
  22. Only issue I have seen is someone drops a key in a parking lot and is looking all over place for it. I never had a dess key fail on any of skidoo’s, I have owned. Kept them as long as 8 years too. I usually carry a spare in glove box, doesn’t really hurt to have it.
  23. I did a quick search and still no positive reviews of the place besides reviews from family themselves.
