  1. Works until someone steals diesel or the propane leaving operator stranded.
  2. Does the new owner get to clean up the mess also?
  3. Other then parts Royal has become like Canadian Tire. Never buy anything for regular price unless you are desperate as the item will be on sale soon enough.
  4. Fricken swamp. There was about 6” gap between ice layer and water. Ice layer broke and sled rear end dropped in. Water was up almost up to my waist when I broke through lifting on it. Saved by another Titan. I will say it was a cold day and my FXR floater pants were waterlogged but drained when I got out of the water. And despite soaked pants and the cold temps that We were able to ride for the next almost 2 hours to home I was still warm when we got there.
  5. So gutting upper floors adds $200,000 to price?
  6. Nothing stops a Titan. Or almost nothing.
  7. my 2019 will be ridden until they call me to say I am to bring in for recall. with only a 2-3 month season it’s not sitting for a season. Especially not for a 0.007 percent chance. What’s the worst thing that can happen to my wife riding my 2019? It could be a great season. LOL.!
  8. Smart way to keep people from going to show.
  9. Yes I received it in an email.
  10. I like rail mounted scratchers. I am mounting skidoo spring style on my Matryx Assault. Using One Rig Design mounting brackets.
  11. Royal has a instore only sale starting today. 10% off plus no tax.
  12. Well if it’s the manufacturers forcing Royal out how will they cover the costs and fees previously shouldered by Royal? Dealers sell accessories. Not the manufacturer. Will more dealers now attend with booths?
  13. Factor in cost of space for booth, lodgings, meals etc. transport ot items. Deal with the international centre labour and rates. Cheaper to have their big tent sales in own stores.
  14. Did you already receive the sled or is it still in dealers inventory? If at dealer they will need to get it out for space.
  15. Our neighbours are pretty good people and watch the place. cameras might come eventually. We love our Ring cameras at home. But that’s because wife doesn’t want me gone without some added security.
  16. Do you know how fast a battery operated grinder with cutting disk can zip through a padlock or chain? Or tounge lock? Or cheap Chinese wheel locks? I kind of regret selling my dads fifth wheel and truck. It was great to use to block in my sled trailer. Now the sled trailer will be alone on cottage driveway. Hopefully 4 wheel locks and tounge lock discourage thieves.
  17. I have wheel locks for my trailer. And I carry a propane torch in my truck to thaw them. Also a can of WD 40 to lubricate after heating.
  18. Yes that’s the economic principles of supply and demand. We are in for an interesting period as interest rates rise along with inflation. I can see some people selling toys in the next year
  19. Except there is a glut of used vehicles on the market right now. Higher Interest rates combined with dealers / brokers who over paid on a crap ton of low km vehicles and are now lowering their buy prices for US destined vehicles. I just traded a 2022 GMC 2500. I did okay but there was a big difference in offerings for my trade and US brokers were the lowest. They told me if I had traded in June I was getting $6,000 to 10,000 more. Too bad they could not get me the truck
  20. I guess you have never sold for a store with anything imported into Canada? Exchange rates are killers Look at GM dealers right now. Price went up $6,000 - 10,000 on a truck. Do you think manufacturing costs rose that much? Or did the dealerships get a CDN dollar exchange rate increase? There are GM customers who had ordered trucks 8 - 12 months ago and are now getting a price increase on their 2022 when it delivers.
  21. Talked to my dealer. Parts for fix being sent to dealers. Call your dealer and get on waiting list. My dealer has over 500 sleds inline. Luckily my new sled will be one of first done. My 2019 will be later in the year maybe??
  22. We were young and dumb maybe? Early 90’s brand new galvanized 4 bed trailer with surge brakes. We were lucky if lights worked on previous trailers so was a huge step up for us. Putting more sleds on trailer allowed for more beer in truck I think.
  23. In Ontario Brakes If your trailer has a gross trailer weight, vehicle and load of 1,360 kilograms or more, it must have brakes strong enough to stop and hold the trailer. Because of the 1360kg or 2,998lbs weight rating for brakes being required it is common to see manufacturers use a 3,500lbs axle and derate capacity to 2,990lbs. My single axle open ATV trailer uses a 3,500lbs axle with max weight of trailer rated at 2,990 lbs. It rarely sees 2 atvs loaded and never winter. I am not saying brakes on a single axle sled trailer are not useful only when legally required. I remember years ago my buddies had a 4 place open sled trailer with hydraulic brakes. We were lucky when trailer started pushing my buddies full size truck we down an snow and ice covered hill and that we had the entire road to maneuver. That day changed our thought process really quickly.
