  2. My Triton trailer is in need of new tires, the size of them are ST145R12 - anyone have any suggestion on a good place to buy these? Just need the tire, I will re-use the aluminum rims. Thank you

I do not think that is such a big issue around these parts - at least not that I am aware of....sure it happens, but I would say not a lot. I see you are in Newmarket, so the closest drop point is Haliburton or Dorset area, Raven Lake parking lot just South of Dorset has never been an issue, other than people that do not park with some common sense of course . Start mid-week and you will not have an issue finding a spot here for truck & trailer, trail is right there......just park sensibly please for others that want to park there as well!
  4. I have heard about POO and DOO delays....but nothing about YAMMI-CAT.....I imagine in the same boat though, perhaps not as bad due to lower number of units sold though, but I am speculating. Anyone have friends that live or ride out west - what have they seen with new units so far? After all, that is main focal point for all manufactures - the mountain segment.
  5. Anyone know if Quebec tourism body still sends you a trail map package if you inquire with them about planning a trip there?
  6. Thankfully, still in good (enough) physical shape to use the old school ones......one under each ski and made up a piece of plywood with wheels for the track. For the skis you do not really have to lift up so much as pull up on the ski loop so it tilts the ski & slide dolly under each ski, one at a time. Driveway is still gravel, so no worries with that.....used primarily in the garage for moving around or unloading from the trailer.
  7. Shhhh, don’t be saying these sort of things until after it’s a good year….
  8. I was thinking the same or family with multiple sleds to fill. Towing is for sure the bigger hit since you’re not really enjoying burning those fossil fuels as much. If I get my sled before season starts, I can’t say the cost of fuel will deter me from riding, hasn’t yet.
  9. Mind elaborating on the "okay".....did your track delaminate or start too, like others say they do, or just not the traction you are used too?
  10. That is good - hopefully your body (back I think) stays healthy and you get out some more. In fairness, your CAT is not stock - I was usually hesitant with changing much to avoid issues.....and well studs, who needs them anyways, just an accident in the making..... Hopefully no mice issues from the summer storage.
  11. Very good - I guess that means she is riding this year... Still sporting the Cat I assume - get the issues you had sorted out with it?
  12. It’ll all work out, right….. Oct just around the corner, getting there slowly….. I predict an early Christmas gift on the way
  13. and make some more money on the sale of a pre-season sled. If delivery dates get extended, you know some folks will back out for sure.
  14. Other than the price tag of the Mach, I do not think the increase from 21 to 22 was that bad given everything else. I think the 23's will be a different story though.

I think for many it is also about getting together as a whole org for some socializing and share what each do, that works or does not work, etc.... I get that some may find this an unproductive way to spend some money too - but for some this is getting a little back for all the volunteering, and is that such a bad thing.
  16. LOL...no worries, all these details surrounding cottage and winter use is helpful. Plus, I am not one to get worked up over these things
  17. Ya, I remember the pictures of it and all the work that went into it.....it was not on the small side for sure. Good news on the update / relocation, I had no idea. Stayed on the same general area, but in a much better spot, IMO.
  18. The layout of the cottage plays a big factor no doubt. If I recall details from when Nutter Reno’d the place him and I think a few others have, it was a two story structure in cottage and the garage too, that will be harder to heat and take longer to heat up vs. a single story open concept with wood stove. Lots of good info here though based on what works for each circumstance!
  19. I am just reading this thread and thinking to myself how much value would the heated seat offer.......but I guess you do not know until you try and then you might wonder how you managed without it! As for made in China - even there there is better made options vs. the products that are borderline acceptable.
  20. That is my worry, you think all okay if not heated, until one year it is and requires an expense and time that could of been avoided by simply leaving a little heat on in the basement.
  21. Yep.....sometimes thing can bite you, or in this case, me as the repair guy......
  22. Thanks - If we end up with this place, that is what we will try first before making any changes.
  23. Just a social visit I assume, perhaps some accessory talk…. Not hearing much news on 900T-R deliveries, especially any of the Mach’s….
  24. Depends who you talk to and what story you get
