  1. No, I think most people here are respectful and discussing difference of opinions, with some sarcasm and light heartedness added.....many other platforms people are very rude.
  2. I cannot see how any forums right now are not seeing more political banter in light of what is going on.....there is a very big divide as to what side of the fence you are on.
  3. That is the one I thought you were thinking of, but was still Red so was wondering.....I am thinking that it will not be Yellow seeing as is between health units.... The D101B for sure has some good spots and some thin spots that needs snow. I thought that Doo you had with the R-motion just sucked up all that junk........lol Guessing you were out in the afternoon....trails were hard and smooth in the morning (yes sounds bad....), by noon, they were now much softer but not rough yet, I imagine the afternoon, they were good and whooped though.
  4. Which trails is it that went Yellow?
  5. Well if you worked in the industry, we know which line you like to tow ......
  6. But that’s just one of the media outlets getting the money, CBC? What stopping the others...
  7. I have ran MX helmet and goggles for a while now, purchased 509 back then and still running the same set up. With this set up everyone is different and you need to find what works for you. I use a Klim Arctic balaclava and for really cold days, I will add a thin cotton balaclava under my Klim balaclava if I find my head getting cold. I also taped off some of the vents on my goggle and my helmet years ago to control the air flow to suit what worked for me. I am now thinking of buying the Mission helmet & going back to a full face, not sure yet though to be honest.
  8. It truly is crazy to think how so many media groups are willing to tow the line for such a bunch of liars & crooks!
  9. Ya, I too also think this type of activity is not something anyone should be ok with. Regardless if the reporter has a name or trying to make a name, this type of activity should not be condoned especially given the environment we are in right now. I posted this same video a little while ago and the only thing I found odd or questionable about the entire thing is the two guys at the door did not seem to show any proof of who they were or what they represented......if someone came to my door for something like this, I would be asking for some proof of who they are before I had any interest in entertaining them any further. Just more craziness surrounding this whole situation.
  10. Very nice. She a little metal head like her daddy!!
  11. Oh boy, that will be a tough one to get out.....should not have left it overnight!
  12. Is this the famous cottage of our fearless leader.... You blow a corner....
  13. The sounds you hear on a cold night in the bush or near a lake are interesting no doubt..... like the ice on a lake building, what a wonderful sound.
  14. Well, I can say nothing really bad has happened yet riding at night. I knew you two were just , but there really are some good pros to night riding...... of course there can be risk too, but there are risks during the day too!
  15. What is wrong with night riding? We used to always do it, usually Fri night for sure after arriving at the cottage or we would do the leach lake 500 at night as well! Always knew when someone was coming. Just needed to have full tanks....most gas station close up at 5PM....
  16. Very good. Been a while since I have rode it, must have been some logging last few years, don’t recall the loop trail being so wide.... but than again it was usually done at night after arriving at the cottage, always a great night ride.
  17. Not today, decided not to venture further north than the ASC shelter, decided to do the wolf loop and to the north east end of kawagama on 64 instead figuring they’d be quieter.
  18. Raven lake is my usual spot that is right on 35 where you can take either d101B or 61, but lot can be full, so there are other spots either South or North of there to also park.
  19. Nice 100 mile ride this morning. Really liking the early morning start and back to the truck just after noon.....the return ride to the truck is quite a bit busier with a lot more bad riders, few close calls, nothing too bad except one that forced me into the bush on trail 63 when I passed a group of about 6 or so heading the opposite way towards MTH. Wolf Loop was great, been a few years since I rode it, great little run/loop plus took trail 67 for the first time since it opened, another nice run.
  20. Just saw this on ASC f/book page: ASC Trail Report, January 28th, 2021. We've had enquiries regarding some of our red trails. Under the OFSC "Flex Trail" initiative, we had to temporarily close 76. We hope to have it back to yellow soon. Areas north of us were forced by their Medical Officer of Health to close some trails due to complaints of some sledders not conforming to the current Covid-19 restrictions. Studies have shown that the recreational sport of snowmobiling is good physical exercise and good for one's mental health. We don't want to lose this. Please follow the restrictions and be respectful of each other. We have been having some colder weather with a few more cold days in the forecast. Exactly what we need to get the rest of the lakes staked. We have had more snow, but we are still hitting rocks. The snow hanging in the trees on the trails is like being in a real-life magazine.
  21. Depending on the recent weather, that run can be bad.
  22. Curious, does anyone know a person that has caught Covid-19 more than once?
  23. Maybe signed up as a different user.....moderator can check the IP address if they wanted too I am sure, but why.
  24. I agree as well & think you are correct. I just posted a video of Kawagama TV on Winter 2021 thread that mentions trail d101B being closed & why (due to health regions), but this trail is groomed and being ran, not 100% sure if the entire section is, but I saw both ends of this trail for this Red section, and it is groomed and sled tracks.....I ran the lake bypass. That is right, they are all front and center in the NB/PS district right now....bigger fish to fry....
