  1. That is what many say, 900 is only in the longer skid.....so no MXZ if you want the 900.
  2. Agreed, good for anyone at any age to be active...keeps the wheels greased. On the flip side, those under 60 should not be treated as disposable either, mostly the ones who are still working (or would like too), with young or younger kids, who are likely more active physically and socially than most that are north of 70, which given what has gone on, has been the case as well. The numbers show who is at greatest risk, yet there has been a huge price for all to pay, in more ways than one. No one is disposable, but you need to look at the bigger picture, do the "right" thing, protect those that need to be & remove the politics......but that is not possible I am afraid and never will be. Making the best of a situation that has been handled so poorly, is not working for me......I am not thinking or looking at the next week, two weeks or just the sledding season, I am looking way past that and the way things are going and have gone, I do not see an end to this nonsense based on what has transpired thus far, hence the frustrations or medical opinions or stats, etc..... It seems all the hard decisions have been based on "modelling"....something that has not even yet happened, with decisions made that you know for a FACT will have dire consequences, no modeling required for that. Anyways, agree to disagree, hence the massive divide that is tearing things apart right now. Need to try and enjoy today & tomorrow, never know what the next day might bring!
  3. Good job......I hope I can say the say the same, and be the exception vs. what seems to be the norm at that age!
  4. Is the Cheby up to the task...... I think the usual breakin before towing is around 500km, if I am not mistaken. Love / hate for the loggers.... With out them, sure would be a lot less trails.....but they can not be so trail friendly at times either.....
  5. Surely these numbers from the other side of the coin and posted on a website and updated each and every day......right, right.....
  6. IF this is true, people had better not be thanking him.....people need to continue to press for evidence as why this was done. Good news if they open.....but seems conflicting info, go figure, what has not lately....
  7. Kind of like Mr Baber was removed...... Oh wait, that was not supporting the plandemic....
  8. As a resident, I imagine I would be pissed or getting creative. As a person that needs to trailer anyways to ride, a person that lives there could do the same......but that is just promoting more of what the Ontario government is trying to limit. Just more true government screw ups in the world we live in.......that we all let happen.
  9. Death is a funny thing, people handle and deal with very differently. I am fine with dying, or if people I know do, but of course I do not want too or other too die either, but it is inherently part of life. And just because the age of the person that passed away was reference, does not mean it did not matter, just putting it into context given what is going on, this virus attacks the people that are older, especially with other issues......at least that is what I think the point of Usedtoskidoo was getting at.
  10. Hopefully they applied for some COVID-19 emerg funds than to do that vs. permit buyers being on the hook for expenses that none of them can use....perhaps a political tool to see some more government funding.....
  11. L123 is Yellow right now, any ideas on why....something to watch out for?
  12. Given the trend in the last 12 months, are people really not surprised that prices for 2022 creeped up a bit more - should not be. What around you has not went up in price.....trail pass is one that I know Agreed, price point on the high end is crazy, but still selling.....and as I mentioned earlier, there are still models that IMO are not that outlandish.
  13. There are other options though, people do not need to buy the premium sled....looks like a basic MXZ is around 10K. But at 20K, the price tag for most is likely a bit of a shocker and if you are going to spend that kind of coin, I hope you have that kind of coin in the bank......could you imagine financing that...... I am pretty sure I am going to pull the trigger on one, I am long overdue, but I do still like my current sled for most things & has served me very well, but I want to take my kids with me on some rides now that I think they are old enough, current sled is not ideal for that & all honesty, I just need a new sled, so time to shop.
  14. The D102B minefield......sections of that trail can be real bad at times! Last few weekends I have seen a lot of 900T in and around Dorset.
  15. Cannot argue with that......up until the last year, I had zero interest on a 4-S, just liked the 2-S feel.
  16. Have you had a chance to try a 900? I finally did last year and I other than the twitchy handling feeling the one I was riding had, I was shocked how good it felt otherwise. The throttle and engine took a bit to adjust too as well, but nothing crazy. We were in QC, but the area we rode that day had a mixture of trails, some wide open and some tighter trails through the bush. The added weight up front I really do not recall being a factor at all.....maybe it contributed to the twitchiness running down a straight trail, but I hear that was a common issue that has all but been resolved for 2021. Sled was a 900T Renegade - base rental model.
  17. Would ya be a 4-stroke guy if they offered one?
  18. So, Mr. Polarii, What inside scoop do you know or rumours on what is to come
  19. See, for every bad opinion on a dealer, there are always good ones too. Quinn's would be ideal, closest to me and where I usually ride, I drive right by them as well.
  20. Ya, I think the best all around track that I have had to date was the 1.5 no doubt. Last couple of sleds I have kept longer, so resale and warranty are not something that I think about, TBH.
  21. Thanks for the feedback, greatly appreciated......in this case, more info or longer reply, is better! I am not looking for crazy top end, 100 to 105 would be ideal when the need presents itself.
  22. Good to know, on both accounts. I was not aware about the Machine crew. Agreed, track life is a direct result of the person controlling the throttle.
