We have been sledding and atving with Ron And Giselle for years now ,have brought up lots of buddies up with us and they all return ,they have a great spot there and work very hard to make sure everyone is happy
-
There is cables from upstream holding it it place from ice flow just can’t see them and it is of course attached to shore at both sides ,club has been using it for years now ,it is a floating bridge with pontoons and goes up and down with floods

It’s a floating bridge across a river in Bracebridge, sled club puts it in for the season then takes it out in the spring

Go north up D to 37 and Bomb around the 80 series trails and Back to gravenhurst ,going to be busy this weekend in the Muskoka’s ,keep a watch for riders if your in the tight twisty stuff with the blind corners ,enjoy snow crest barbecue as it will be good I’m sure

That was my first thought. Maybe new landowner will by a sled and join us ,lol

Looks like lots of sledders have still been going down the closed part of D trail south of port Sydney .it has been tracked out heavy in the last couple weeks so I guess the land owner has increased the size of the signs for you guys that can't read English
-
Never riding on trail again on a weekend ,my bad
-
Thought I would get a early Jump on the rush and ride the open trails .gas station in port Sydney was packed by 9 am .crossed Mary Lake to see fire department at groomer building bring out a burnt sled from trail .guy went into corners a bit fast I guess .turned around to head back to safety at home and met guys one after another coming into corners sideways ..there is going to be more trouble by Sunday night I'm sure .this crazy stuff has to stop VID_20200201_101326.mp4

Port Sydney should be ok by weeks end
-
Just to let all you Muskoka riders that the 36 feeder trail now goes to the new shell gas station in Bracebridge ,before it was just basically a dead end ,good to see sno- bombers and the new owners get together on this ,they cross the road down into the ditch and to the gas station ,this is also the travelodge property and a stone throw from Boston pizza and timmies ,great to see new trails and not closures
-
Not riding the trails today too mushy and soft .but lots of guys unloading in port Sydney to trench up the newly opened trails
-
I'm a FB friend of OP .but not a riding friend .sounds like a bad thing either way this happened. I see admin has turned off future comments on FB omit
