Gotta agree with you.  Everything went red between last night and this am.   Maybe, but likely not that the trails will reopen.     For the south its been a good season, and I wont complain.  Got just under 1000km on, but by my choice i didnt get more on.  Trails were awesome whenever i was out.   After looking at snow for almost 3 months continuously, (Nov 27)  I'm ready to see green grass and brown dirt.   Almost time to tap some trees.  

LOL - your son will be like us many moons later talking about running the narrows - no mention of open water or not! But I do not think anyone will have the option anymore to mark the possible mistake on the whiteboard in the restaurant!!  

Frozen over  - there was like 2 little holes just starting to surface.  I went through it and back to see how it was. I gave him my Cat first - he went through on it with his Go Pro on and then felt it was obviously no big deal to take his own sled through - so he did.   He's still just figuring all this stuff out - I told him you can say you rode through there - but don't say you did the "water" cause you didn't   I will see if I can figure out how to upload a video? Not my area of expertise
