I just Googled Casey's Kapuskasing, their website came up including a great review from a sledder dated January 7, 2017 So I would say they are OPEN.

Finally snow returns 

Doug Ford making an appearance in Port Sydney. Must be at beach and skating rink. Would be pretty cool to have a radar run like the good ol days of the winter carnival. Fond memories of Arnie's Tcats lighting it up and cleaning house in the 1000ft out on Mary lake. 

last year around this time, a fairly good portion in that corner was not open yet - much better year so far!   Although the trail through the chic choc was open earlier and I saw it closed I think late last week, but now good, I wonder if they had that mild spell with rain too.  

As of this morning the whole Gaspe loop is open except for a spot in the southwest corner near Pointe le Croix and it is susppose to open Jan. 17. Great to have the Chic Choc trail open again
