Seeing the club posts from all around the province on FB it really looks like it's going to be an epic season, with lots of early riding opportunities. I'm banking on riding down to Fenelon for lunch this Saturday, and back via some Pinery trails. Last year we were able to do that Dec 7th on what was almost mid season conditions, I'll take it a week late this year with zero complaints. Now if HCSA would just follow suit with KLSC this year and not wait so long to open the rail trail, we would really be in business. Lots of sleds already out there packing it down and driving some frost in for the past week. I'd of already been out there too if I wasn't for the optics lol
Weekly update, still adding up. Was -30 this morning. Making ice, freezin swamps. Hopefully some yellow or even green on the ITG for the holiday weeks. Ski
We are back there in January 10th - if things are good - I'll bring the sleds.
Kids are going up on a bus - but we could stay the night and ride Sunday.
Time will tell
Things are shaping up nicely in our neck of the woods.
Saw some updated photos today - and also saw our bay has capped over and ice is forming!
I know I've said this about 10,000 times already - but man it's looking hopeful for a little bit of riding of some sort over the holidays. Fingers crossed of course.
