I don't know if the news story is 100% accurate but from what I've read in this thread it's close to the truth. I find news media is not always accurate but word of mouth (gossip) tends to warp the truth. I think the best approach would have been to have a statement on the OFSC website so people could read before they buy their permit. Transparency.

It needed to go out before “word got around”. That’s how things get lost and you lose the narrative.   If you have learned anything from our current government, it is always, I repeat, always, most important to control the narrative.    

Wouldn't matter word already got around. I thought some of those areas would sell more permits than that too. Hopefully itg comes alive on Nov 1 like some say. I need time to update 7s guage.  

This could have gone out 2-weeks before permits went on sale - and before the clubs were all asked to send the messaging in my opinion.   Communication is paramount and this is one area where the OFSC could improve
