Just consider it part of supporting Canadian manufacturing 🤣. Seems a little steep to me, but if the price of the sled is cheap enough, just take your lumps and move on, I guess.
There is definitely a cost penalty to buying a very popular model/engine size.
100% - there's still some early to mid 2000s BR160's and 180's running like champs, super dependable and easy to work on with lots of cross over parts easy to obtain locally. It's too bad we got rid of so many over the last 5 or 6 years. There's a few ex-OFSC units that were bought up and taken stateside still running strong.
