What did you end up buying?    

I dont think you can look at a snowmobile as an investment, your ride it for pure enjoyment, return on investment is not an option as it cost money to have fun, with that being said, if you you have never had a premium gage package, shock package or additional HP, you dont knoew what you are missing, when you cross that threshold, you will never go back! LOL ! it has happened to me !

Okay, we're done for now. Have a few odds/ends - but sled piece is settled. He has his and I have mine now    

I agree, but spidy is not a tech guy when it comes to those things, which is why I stated my thoughts.    the backpack is for kids and young people, you’ll want all your stuff stowed away on the sled, and I’m guessing it’s a 2 stroke, so oil needed too, for trips at least if that’s a future path.
