Closed bridge is where l have the green and red balloons.
Picture of the road bridge is Route 132 , a possible reroute alternative. As y can see the bridge is fairly narrow, curves in the road on both sides and quite a few feet of guard rail. Haven’t heard the official word but the speculation is the Quebec department of highways wouldn’t be very supportive of usng this bridge all winter as a reroute.
Hopefully get a definite answer soon so can plan accordingly.
It is a red foot bridge just one sled wide. The cables that support it are connected to rods sticking out of the ground at each end are in very bad condition.
Based on a google search, I would say the bridge in this town is out so the trail is closed.....seems as though it would be a big impact to run along the south side of the St Lawrence.

If you do a google street view from the road bridge in this town, you see a red bridge just up the river that must be the one that is in need of repair....looks like a longer one with no supports.
