Because permit buyers in those areas want to ride from home when ever possible.
That said, I live on a dead end trail that doesn’t get the same snow amounts as those just a bit north. Our club’s trails have become almost land locked at this point with 1/4 mile asphalt runs to make a connection to neighbouring trails.
I would be deeply saddened to see these trails go away as I helped with opening and grooming them as a kid in the 70’s.
But if they go away, I can understand why as they won’t make much difference to the system, only impact will be to those who live here.
You can't even spin your tires in a parking lot that's open to public now. If you do and police see it they can charge you with stunt driving. 😂 no more donuts either or same bs. It's getting out of hand now.
