SlowTouringGuy
How is the "C" shortcut across 6 Mile Lake. I understand it went in the dumper with the mild spell but am wondering how well it has recovered. Is it a solid crossing again? Are the stakes back up? Has anyone been through that way this week ? Thanks !

Yukon
STG Six mile is fine , our run will be crossing it, however the stake line that was put up before the first warm up went for a POOP! It's staked relatively well at both ends but it's a little hit and miss in the middle. If your slightly familiar with the trail it's self from past years and you can follow the sled traffic you should be fine. We are expecting snow in the forecast so you should be able to make out the trail on saturday quite well. Have a safe trip and enjoy the day! Might pass you along the way , you won't miss us! Feel free to pm me about the trails I'm quite familiar with this end of the MSR. Yukon
