On the IG it shows that Rolphton has an Esso but we were there last year and believe it's closed any ideas for this or any other gas?

Esso is supposed to be open now. Yates in Stonecliffe has gas, trail goes to door as that's where the groomer calls home.

When we were up in the valley last July, it looked like they were on the home stretch construction-wise @ Rolphton. Lots of piping sticking out of the ground. Yates (Crevier) was open in Stonecliffe.

We used to stop at Sarrazin's in Deux Riviere. Lunch was always good even if the decor was a bit dated. The place has been closed for several years now and I really don't know of any other place other than Rolphton. If you're leaving from Chalk River then Rolphton would be a very early lunch stop. We have gone from Chalk River to Mattawa for lunch and back but it makes for a long day.

Yup Rolphton ESSO is definitely open...price of gas there was 4 cents/L more than in Stonecliffe this past Saturday.

If I was at my camp in Deux Rivieres you'd be welcome to stop in. Hope be there permanently in a few more years.

Bear's Den in Deep River, trail access right to their back parking lot (new this year), plus there is a ESSO 2 doors down from there. Trail # 135 off of the TOPS A trail.

Just found out that lunch will be available at the Stonecliffe Community Center for all the February Saturdays from 11 am to 3pm. The lunch is put on by the Recreation Committee. Made from scratch soups, hot sandwiches, beverage and dessert.  Reasonable prices open to all.

Yes. They usually do that during sled season. Plus they do 2 poker runs. One this past weekend and another March 5th.
