It is a great app but remember that while it will give you your location without data you WILL NOT be able to send it until you get a signal. You can also have it on a PC We have been using for years for ham radio a nd emergency search/rescue.

As a ham radio operator I've been using this app for a couple of years and been promoting it for Search & Rescue here in the north. Hopefully it is finally catching on. Just a reminder that it will only work if you have a signal to send.
