14 snow
Looking at the interactive map trying to plan some trip routes and I was wondering does anyone know why "D" from Spanish to Elliot Lake is still closed? Will it open this year or is it closed for the season? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Elliotgroomer
The D trail between Spanish and Elliot Lake is closed for the season. LANDOWNER Issues.

WeBeSleddin
I'm pretty sure the landowner in the area is the serpent river First Nations. Wonder why they wouldn't allow access through the trails? Rode this area years ago and it was awesome!
AC+YA
The F Trail does the job and is in great shape this season. Take the lakes for a faster cut through. It is great right now.
Elliotgroomer
The issue is not with the first nations but a private landowner.

Canuck
Thanks for the info. Will look for the "lakes" you're referencing AC+YA. Guessing that they're 'backwoods' and not staked, right? If that's the case, taking the F trail, lol.

zoso
I have been advised by a local that people are riding D through there, not open though. I would suggest F as if the club is having a landowner issue riding it may cause problems in ever getting it back.
