500ssman
Barely see the top of my truck now! Earlier today in Cape Breton. Had to leave early for greenwood as they have issued another heavy snowfall warning for the area.

ToSlow
Ya my sister sent me a picture of 8ft of snow in the driveway. Just like the days of old when I was a kid
02Sled
At this rate you may see green grass by mid June. At the other end of the spectrum I was in Wasaga Beach today and you may as well say the snow is gone. I saw a bunch of trail stakes running through a bare field on Klondike Park Rd and a couple of people fishing one of the open water patches on the river. If it were up to me I would rather have your weather still.

dweese
Well look at it this way. You might not have to summerize the sled.

02Sled
Yes we lost about a foot since last week. short lived thaw will only help maintain the base.... then some more snow and you should be good until Dec 2015 for good sledding... just think of the money you will save at the garden centre that can go for sled gas
500ssman
The sun is out here +5 and the sun has completely obliterated last nites snow fall but the stuff that has been on the ground for awhile is hard as a rock in the evenings. The trails still have a 2 to 3 ft base in some areas.

500ssman
Yup wasn't on the sled till Jan 21 so quite the season after that which is still going full steam. We are expecting about 10 cms of snow monday and cooler temps until the end of the week. I believe grooming will continue until either they run out of snow or the clubs run out of money.
