crackher
read this one...what a douchebag! http://www.canada.co...9072/story.html "In fact, on average there was an 80 per cent chance of having a snowfall on Christmas Day in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Fast-forward to the last 20 years, and those odds on average have slipped to 65 per cent, according to Environment Canada." Did I ever mention that I hate Dave Phillips... Sasquatch777
Hey ski. The last two years have Been brutal in Ontario. This will be the second year in a row that the trails aren't open at Xmas in my area. Good year everything Is open by the 15th of December. Could be a good season still and hopefully will last well into april for a change. We have late openning trails all the time. Need the lakes to freeze thick enough to support a groomer first. Sledding never really starts here till middle of Jan and is best ridding is in Febuary.

old sledhead
Hold on guys one of santas elfs tells me some clubs in dist 6 have been out packing for a week if we get any snow out of this storm ,i would expect to see trails opening in parts of the district. I myself was out last night building a aproch to a hwy with the groomer normaly takes about on hour to do was done in a 1/2 hr. But we still have to wait for some landowner to give ok to cross farm land . Cattle are still out so to the locals please don't head out and start opening gates. Also no water is safe this will no doubt cut down on were or how far you can travel . Merry Christmas All All i asked for is lotts of snow
