  1. My friend gets polar bear ones that come I. Drop 16” of sugar snow and then cold funnels in afterwards and swirls it all up. He is close to hay river in Alberta. So I was hoping we get something similar here, but it has been since I was 5, that we last had a blizzard here, that closed roads and snowed us in.
  2. I didn’t blame him slomo. After all everyone is proven innocent until proven otherwise. I would never buy hot wood. All my wood comes from proven suppliers via my builder, since he does work. I can write it off, so why would I want to pay cash for hot wood and support under ground. That makes absolutely no sense. By the way have you got the bridge in across creek yet or still awaiting decking boards?
  3. Yeah but did you look at long range forecast. Going to beach again on Friday high of 14 C
  4. Yeah has to be an inside job no doubt. Someone who would known time line and had a plan ahead of time to grab and transport wood out. last time it was him that damaged quad and enturned blammed his son for stealing quad without permission and rolling it? I believe he reported stolen first too, Id I remember correctly. Wild bill had quite time with it.
  5. Polar bear vortex not a regular polar vortex. Bear one comes with 4 feet of snow like a hurricane does with heavy rain and can’t see nothing for a good 36 to 48 hours.
  6. Another warm wing night coming up. Hopefully my leg is better by then.
  7. Next several weeks looks warm too. Going into December at plus 8. Hope that changes.
  8. Nice if we are lucky we will have two feet of snow by Xmas in south.
  9. Yeah prices are ridiculous. Went up about 20 dollars a sheet, since I did floor in two storey barn in spring. Takes a shady company to support under ground though.
  10. I use a broker too for everything except snowmobile at moment. Much easier if you Ever need to claim.
  11. I guess it depends who you get on phone and which office call goes too. Some go by crazy book and others are more lax and will co-operate and make it easy.
  12. Exactly what happened to me last year. Had to call and fax info in. Glad I wasn’t only one after PLC blasted me chicken crap again. Once they got all info they would cancel sled I sold. What a pita that was.
  13. Well said. I am excited about trails coming back too. Maybe with some help in future connection to north can be made, That will make an awesome loop, once again.
  14. Going to be a tough one since it is a dead end in and out for them and rest of that D trail. Accomdations will be tough to get in dub snd wawa too this winter.
  15. Looks good. Is this community just connecting to D trail that goes to white river or is there a re connection to north taking place too?
  16. Yeah I ran into that in past too. My understanding is TD just goes by value of sled, now. Don’t matter what it is. In past they had a max value that they wouldn’t go above, not sure if that is still case or not.
  17. You try to change something on your policy and they go thru 30 question checklist. Oh boy no wonder phones are tied up. They won’t except cancellation without talking to you as well. Have to do both. Ran into that last year with my dads policy.
  18. There will be snow but have to get out right away to ride it, in D5 anyways . Frozen ground going to be hard to come by in south this winter. O2 sled seems to think we are in line for a few Polar Bear vortex’s this winter.
  19. Last time I shipped a container LTL it got lost at terminal in montreal. Recieved container 5 months later then expected. At least I got it but next time it will be air frieghr from Germany not boat and truck.
  20. But they won’t give out permits for lady only facility’s anymore. So no thanks!
  21. Yeah but then I would have to put it back up for sale and then people would low ball me too. Only way to do it, is to get it cheap, fix it and operate it for awhile and then turn it for a good price. Will take awhile to build clientele back up now.
  22. That’s only one district not overall permit sales. Positive sign but would like to know where sales for whole province sits.
  23. I think it is over priced. Not much land with it too, small gravel parking lot. Building a heritage building which is a pita to work on. Never let anyone tear it down either. If it had a few acres it would be a great spot for a microbrew beside it. Great location just too small in today’s standards. Hence why it is still available!
  24. Good idea. Have to get one to take chicken out of barns this winter. Then snowmobile becomes a business write off expense.
