  1. No rules really can do what you want pretty much. Just ofsc might not connect different health units together until lock down is over. So have to wait and see where we can and not go pretty much.
  2. When was last time you did that? I got on after you near blooming dale road. Always went towards elora. Winters not even cold enough to attempt that today.
  3. I guess you didn’t sell sled to that guy? Seems getting snow then a major warm up is new norm. This year a little odd with a real lack of cold weather. Was suppose to be a La Niña winter too. Maybe middle of January it will change. Bright side is can’t get much worse and if it does have to get x jd out and cut your grass.
  4. Yeah we shall see. Every time there was police out in our area, they catch very few people that don’t comply. I say majority of people are complaining with rules. Even ones that aren’t obvious they usually have a day pass in there coat pocket, can’t assume no permit on windshield that they are free loading.
  5. Yikes. I don’t see many around here. Sileage wrap the same thing. Most farmers use wrappers here and rap up a row of round bales. Typically stored on edge of field near barn, for easy access.
  6. His friend must have no insurance since it would be easier to just make a phone call and be done with it.
  7. All about keeping costs down. Drive it to 90,000 km’s and trade it. We live in a disposable society today. Farm equipment same thing today too. Some equipment only has a 2 year warranty, down from 5 or 7 years in past. Atv’s only a few years too.
  8. If you tow allot chances are it will wear out sooner? Lucky you don’t keep trucks that long that sounds worse then expensive timing belt replacements on Honda and Volkswagen engines.
  9. I dunno even dealer was puzzled. It would puke out engine oil thru turbo and out exhaust and have no power. Always happened on a real cold day after start up. Now I am using block heater and so far hasn’t happened again. Shouldn’t do that I agree and they covered two turbo’s under warranty. If it does it again I am trading it no doubt.
  10. Most diesels especially turbos needs to be plugged in after minus 20 C or so. Cold weather starts with glow plugs can shorten turbo’s Life. Learned that on my telehandler. Went thru two turbo’s and then finally agreed, I needed a block heater kit. They don’t normally use them Only glow plugs. Always blew a cold day after starting on glow plugs. No issue since I have been using block heater now. Truck could be different design though.
  11. We use to ride grand River from Bridgeport to almost elora. Always open water along the way too. Now I look back on that and it was a pretty stupid move, but back then there was at Least a decent amount of solid ice, which isn’t case today with all warm ups.
  12. Hopefully it works out for him. Glad to see some choices in town though.
  13. How does it start in cold weather? Be an issue if no block heater in minus 20 ish weather? Thanks
  14. Not bad but not as much snow as I thought. Looks like they have around same amount as us maybe an inch or two more.
  15. But a barn that’s insane. Maybe shouldn’t be riding xmas eve after a big fixing dinner and a few cocktails.
  16. Thank-you for update. Usually when it is open all way to Kitchener, the trails in your area are typically good. Been about 5 winters since whole system has been open. Hopefully next month we will get more cold and snow. How much snow is on ground at moment?
  17. That was old rules. I am not sure it still exists. They changed price too and maybe upgrade feature was scrapped.
  18. I have seen worse actually. Limited trails will sell permits now if they can stay open. Haven’t been on a green trail In south in a few years now. Kudo’s To club and hopefully conditions improve
  19. Yeah I was going to go load up but now I am thinking better off to ride in my own fields.
  20. Looks perfect for turbo. Nice and straight no doubt. That’s north of open area so maybe more snow south! I highly doubt it is much better though.
  21. Any first hand ride reports? Must be someone that has ventured out into open area by now?
  22. Need more snow and cold I think. Woodstock south to Turkey point is open now though.
  23. Is there usually a river ice crossing for groomer to use?
  24. Shouldn’t you be out riding your new snowmobile. I want to see some ride reports and pictures. Where is electron these days?
  25. I agree but there are lots of good bright people too. I knew one person that their parents lived on reserve and they lived off and still had a status card. Got tax off on everything they bought, even though that isn’t entirely legal. Some things just have to turn your head and say nothing.
