  1. I thought I read on the forum here that is was blocked off ? Been across it a couple times and that's it. No more
  2. Yup and masks when closer to go over the maps. Got one trip planned but still unsure about other trips with this group
  3. We used to ride 90 percent from home too in the old days
  4. Garage meeting tonight. Making plans. Oh and of course some drinks of a sociable nature.
  5. And another note I decided to change my display on my dash to show my milage. Ya it's winter and I am pulling my work trailer around town. Not good I put my digital speedometer back up. LoL
  6. One thing we talked about at a garage meeting was how much fuel do you really get from the pumps ? It's adjusted to 15 degrees Celsius I think I remember. So we get less fuel in the winter than the pump says ? So when we figure mileage the old way. ... which I used to do..... Does that show better milage in winter .but the dash indicator should be correct since it's a computer just asking
  7. That's too bad . What happened to your foot ?
  8. Can't say I disagree at all. This was from the d5 meeting so I should say I don't know if it is an Ofsc policy
  9. Fogged all our 2 smokes faithfully !!! Stabilized full tank of fuel with ethanol fuel stabilizer never had an issue usually ran Ski Doo 600s and the Confusion too Left in the old bank barn for the summer so very dry area always start right up in fall but will admit I would trade before 10000km
  10. Actually now that you say that our report from D5 was to close all warm up shacks too
  11. BIL reports 40 cm Markdale area
  12. That project looked real good Would like cool with some Edison lights Like a patio
  13. 2017 5.3 Z71 Chevy pulling Prostar Hybrid 2 wide went to Val Dor 1689 km 18.4 L 100km Longest trip for this truck Usually North bay or so, Fill in Sturgeon falls and on fumes in Guelph All down hill so much better on fuel Really makes a difference on how much you put your foot in it but we all know that for years I really would like to try an inline Lightning like Blake got the day we picked them up I see the prices for the trailers took quite a jump
  14. You probably will always need a sticker since you are commercial with farm plates
  15. Insurance can be all over the map driving record , claims. All make a difference just saying.
  16. I am still designating our 2 to Bridgeport I am still really involved in the club and a landowner Always hope that the club gets at least enough money to recognize the volunteers and landowners We did get our trails open off and on the last 5 years especially last year our riding in the province still changes at this time
  17. Hey Yukon Are you trying to get out of your Bubble ?? LOL
  18. Yes the past 5 years in D5 have been tough to keep the sledding desire. Trailer and taking trips now are the way it is. To hear that permits sales designated to D5 are strong is interesting to hear. Are people buying and waiting for local snow or are designating local clubs and just travelling. How many are in D5 and designating northern clubs ? Currently I guess there is no funding to the districts based on permit sales. Permit sales by postal code would be interesting to see.
  19. When I used to go to way more meetings we always had reports of permit sales. Was always given as a report. Of course with covid and restructuring of meeting attendance not as many people are attending meetings. From what I heard D5 has reported very strong permit sales
  20. We knew a guy that put the sled on the roof he was ahead of us heading north so when we stopped at Gasoline Alley the guys around us had one heck of a laugh. We still talk about it today and that was over 30 years ago. He had it on the other way. Way more aerodynamic LoL.
  21. There were great reroutes done with alot of work for sure so thanks to the people involved Alot of trails may have been for a one year term and there was alot of road running too The Lake Conestoga club house just wont be accessible with out GRCA permission The whole thing really is a huge shame since the lands are basically owned by the " tax payers " I still would be very interested in how District 1 did negotiate an agreement and how the City of Ottawa's needs were met
  22. Same here. Vin number for everything and I have shopped out everything the last 2 years. Moved ATV to The Personal as well. My wife is part of the group rate. Good to know the sister company though
