  1. Track held up great. Just not the traction I was hoping for.
  2. I used an Ice Ripper last season and it was "ok". I will be putting real studs in my 22.
  3. Dealer cost went up more than MSRP did for 22 and the ext warranty was dropped from 4 years to 3 years. Seadoo's early buy program comes with a 2 year warranty instead of 3 years for 21s. I bet thats what we see next spring from Skidoo as well.
  4. My dealer is forewarning guys with Mach Zs that they wont be getting them until mid January. I have a 22 600XRS ordered as a 2nd sled but I am so glad I kept my 21 850 for another season. I think you will see dealers stop selling at a certain point next spring. Most BRP dealers are dreading this coming sled season after living through Seadoos not arriving until August. A lot of dealers are finally starting to realize that they dont have the man power to build/pdi all the machines they have coming this fall. It is going to be a HUGE sh-t show this fall trying to get sleds delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  5. The guys at Pride told me that their TO Boat Show budget is just over $1M. With no inventory available, why bother?
  6. The Boat Show will be the next to cancel. Pride Marine has already bailed on it for this year. It will be tough to get exhibitors back after a couple years off.
  7. I really dont have any issues with the increase. I will be buying an ON and QC permit this year.
  8. A lot of restaurants are closing due to shortage of workers. My buddy owns 5 restaurants and had to close the slowest one temporarily and move the staff to the busier places as he couldnt get enough workers to cover all 5 locations. He just reopened the smallest one this week but he said all thoughts of expanding further are on hold because of the lack of people who want to work. When we are up north we generally have a big breakfast and dont worry about stopping for lunch anywhere. We pack a few snacks and stop at a warm up shack in the afternoon instead of scratching into a town like Kap for lunch. Is there talk of the Moonbeam Clubhouse not opening this season? I really missed it this year. It was pretty handy to grab a bowl of soup or something small when driving by.
  9. Hindsight being 20/20 they should not have opened last season. The closed border and the lack of snow in that area were a recipe for disaster. I wanted to do "the loop" last season and there was no snow in Dub to complete the trip. I hate to say it, but I bet its closed for good. This will really hurt the local communities economy in the winter unless they can figure out a way to get gas. The OFSC will close the trail if there is no gas. Too much liability if someone gets stuck out there and dies.
  10. My wife has a 2020 Pilot and it tows my TC167 better than I thought it would considering it is a FWD biased vehicle. That being said, I cant even tell its on the back with my F150.
  11. There is no way that I would pay $5K more for a Triton than a SnoPro if $14K is the new street price for a TC167. The Triton is not a $5K better trailer.
  12. I paid $10K + HST for my 2021 TC167 and I even have walls inside mine which I was told was a $600 option. Its a nice trailer but I barely saw the value in it at $10K let alone $14K!
  13. I put the Factory Axys mirrors on my 18 Pro X 800 and my dads 20 Indy 850. They work great UNLESS you run muffs or handguards and then they are pretty much useless.
  14. I bought a new 2021 "Action" 6x12 trailer last fall for $6000 + HST and at the time felt like I was paying a serious COVID tax on it but I really needed the trailer and just sucked it up and bought it. I just happened to be on Action Trailers website and the IDENTICAL trailer is now $8164 + HST!!! https://actiontrailers.ca/shop/on-order/on-order-enclosed-cargo/on-order-aluminum-enclosed-cargo/on-order-atmt-aluminum-6-x-12-single-axle-cargo-trailer-with-ramp-door-package-blackout-package-and-side-access-door-with-flush-lock-serial-80120/ Same with Triton trailers. I bought a new Elite PWC trailer in 2017 and admittedly, got a deal on it from my buddy but I paid $2300 + tax. I had to pay $3500 for the same trailer last week. I see Bluewater Trailers has new TC167s on their website for $14K + HST. I paid several thousand less for the same trailer with wall liners in December. They want $16K for NEO V-Noses that were $13K last year. I know inventory is tight but this is getting ridiculous.
  15. My 2021 Seadoos came without DESS. They just have the old cheapy tether. BRP will put DESS posts on when they become available.
  16. ALL Seadoo and ATV production is in Mexico. The only thing built in Canada is Skidoo and Spyder.
  17. Transport sitting at St Onge right now unloading sleds according to my buddy who works there.
  18. Is it a Yamaha? Yamaha is having a huge problem delivering units. My Yamaha dealer buddy has already given back 20 deposits for MY21 YZs that have not shown up.
  19. There is a shortage of 900R motors. BRP has cancelled all 900Rs that were ordered as "demos" or "unsold-stock". My dealer told me that BRP is scrambling to figure out how they are going to supply all these motors.
  20. You may be right. I just dont need to tie up $40K in 2 Seadoos and a trailer for a month and a half of riding. Its the same as getting your new sleds in Feb.
  21. Rumour has it that BRP is coming to the realization that they do not have enough 900R motors to fulfill all Spring Orders. All demo 900Rs orders have been cancelled and there will be none available for stock in the fall.
  22. My 2 new Seadoos are pushed back to June delivery which makes me think that it will be July. I made it very clear to my dealer that I will not be taking them if I am not riding by the 2nd weekend of July.
  23. I will still buy an Ontario permit in hopes that we get some local snow but my trips will be in Quebec this winter.
