  1. Seems to be some sort of mental block that an increase will affect things significantly, but I’m of the opinion as you. Now a multi permit discount I think makes way more sense for those that are in that position.
  2. I’ve used the hand mirrors for years, except the last couple since I somehow melted mine. Always worked well enough and never had issues with them (or custom numbers….lol) in Quebec, maybe lucky or we were just a nice bunch of guys when we ran into the QPP a few times 😃
  3. Wait, new sleds sitting in a crate, in a yard, in the middle summer baking….not good for the sled at all….….lol…
  4. Ya, but I just can’t see that being enough to support the kind of spending or money people are dropping on these things, but I don’t have any first hand experience either to really comment on that with any confidence, thankfully.
  5. I suppose one of the good side effects of the last 12+ months, people seem to have money….. Makes me wonder though if all that extra cash is from folks cashing in on that new found home equity.
  6. Definitely a crap shoot…. overpay on used, that you’ll get or buy new, that might miss the boat.
  7. And at the recent resale prices, it really makes a new purchase an easier pill to swallow. one of the great thing things with forums is lots of folks will offer up their stuff here first before kijiji route!
  8. Better than no vehicle…. Could live without I’m sure for the intern.
  9. Please let us know when the 900T are ready to go! Thankful I didn’t go with the SS’s… in case they happen to be an issue too with deliveries. And how about you, SS option….
  10. Really makes sense…. And that competition that Doo did a few years ago does as well.
  11. Am I correct that Domtar has sold a bunch of land they owned, if so, to whom and for any purpose that was shared?
  12. I was going to ask what is the criteria for this to happen..... We all know Nunz is, but it is obvious that he is a little crazy over the Poo-Poo
  13. My first trailer that I bought, which was an open car hauler, was from Miska.....it was very good and problem free for many years until I sold and bought enclosed. I never needed support as it never had an issue.
  14. We have left our trailers and rigs for a full week in the past there, no issues at all. Have arrived with 2 to 3 rigs and room for all....as long as all park smart of course.... As noted, parking down the hill at the gas station has been an option shared, but have never needed too, but when driving by it heading up the hill, it has always tended to be not as busy a spot either. @Gadgetman - Planning trips in Jun, you are a good man!
  15. Maybe someone with more background on this will correct me, but I believe there is a pretty heavy emphasis on managing the forests / lumber in this day and age, surveying areas intended to be logged, paperwork submitted, red tape added, etc, etc..... In saying this, I would think that what was in motion months or possibly years ago, will continue and to in order to increase production based on what has transpired in the last 12 months, requires a process to be followed before it can be implemented......so in the coming years I am sure it will get worse, this year might be too soon for that though given the process. The next point to wonder, the amount logged cannot exceed the new growth cycle......like in the past it did but I understand that has been corrected to a certain degree, but of course money & politics seems to prevail......
  16. LOL.....I like this as a (ex) Cat guy.... This is a good one
  17. See, made in Canada....make Canada great again, if that is possible of course.....
  18. It appears Sea-doos may be both in QC and Mexico.....with Rotax engines in Austria... VALCOURT, QUÉBEC, CANADA Valcourt is our home, where it all started. Today, it plays a strategic role in BRP activities worldwide. Valcourt has become the Centre of expertise for design, research, development, marketing and manufacturing of Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo and Can-Am products, where we can find the Laurent Beaudoin Design and Innovation Center, the Product Development Center, our factory of Ski-Doo snowmobiles and Can-Am Spyder 3-wheel vehicles and our global headquarters. OUR MEXICAN FACILITIES Our Mexican footprint has grown over the years. We now have two plants in Juárez where we manufacture our Can-Am off-road vehicles. In Querétaro, we assemble our Sea-Doo watercraft and the Rotax engines for our Can-Am off-road vehicles. .
  19. I have no idea actually, which is why I made that statement as possible reason with a "IDK". It really does not look good for a sea-doo buyer to see sleds arriving in the summer/spring and yet their sea-doo is not here yet, don't ya think? I thought I read something somewhere that various vehicles BRP sell are made in different places. Are all Doo sleds made in QC, is there another plant in the US or Mexico....
  20. It was a joke son…😀....and yes, I actually did, which I believe stateD the sleds missing parts would sit in yard and expected to be retrofitted in Fall! Its crazy new iron is already arriving though.
  21. I wonder if they are complete…. ….
  22. Interesting link over on Doo https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/brp-trying-to-honour-every-order-despite-chip-shortage-185721453.html
  23. I recall reading about using a sealed relay vs. the one from the factory to prevent this.......but based on the OC consensus, it appears this issue does not happen much if at all. I am sure one of those things that gets blown up in the interwebs......anything possibly bad, gets blown way out of proportion.
  24. Perspective on its size perhaps.....
