  1. Sure am glad I ordered mine earlier, Feb 25ish I think.....hoping if there is shortages, I assume BRP processes orders based on first in is first out so to speak, where it makes sense given the various models that come off the assembly line.
  2. Well that sucks.....that would be similar to not getting your sled until the end of Jan / early Feb. Will be some interesting times ahead of us, might be some excited people, more than usual that is.
  3. yep....I think people feel as though that is why they are now offering another manufacture of shock on the 2022's.
  4. It could very well be with so many other things in turmoil too. But I am wishful that Ski-Doo is ahead of the curve regarding their supply chain......the writing has been on the wall for a bit now and if I am not mistaken, the pre-order numbers were capped already, which one would think they already had what was needed to fulfil those numbers.
  5. I was surprised what the smaller delta was on sleds sold in US vs. Cdn......but the much bigger delta on registered sleds & revenue generated in each of the countries.
  6. Gotcha.....assumed it was a statement about what was in the link.....
  7. Recheck the link, more info there than what dealers and manufacturers would have.
  8. What a great link! Thank you
  9. I think most sledders are passionate about the sport, but understand certain criteria must be met to continue with some level of success, permits sold being one of them.
  10. Ya, that sucks spidy....but good on you for buying the pass!
  11. Unless you are in a club, I doubt that info will be shared....maybe a percentage will be stated. Too much scrutiny it seems.... I do recall an increased percentage being stated at some point through the season, but do not recall the number. Now just because sled sales are up, does not mean permits sales are.....should be, but you know all those people buying brand new sleds that are only running the lakes or there back 50......... LOL. Or perhaps many just stick with the QC trails and forgot the ON trails.....a very realistic scenario I am sure.
  12. $hitty news for sure, but I am sure one that is not surprising given the business and environment as of late. Wishing things make a change for the better and you can continue to offer the amenities required. Good luck!
  13. LOL, is that what the Doo repair manual explains how to fix the problem When Cat had the servo for there reverse system before the engine reverse was put into use, they had similar issues. I still tend to not use my reverse much, just an old habit I guess and find myself either grabbing a ski or the rear bumper to swing sled around.
  14. They had a manual actuated lever on the right side to engage reverse. I don’t have enough Doo exposure to state what 4 stroke models had this and which ones didn’t, now it’s an electronic push button, with potentially more issues I guess and why many rather it didn’t change.
  15. I had the opportunity to ride a 900T a couple of years ago for a little bit, which was my first time on one. At first it is very different from the traditional throttle that takes some adjustment, but than it was fine once that period had passed and no complaints. I think many people just like to complain and the guys on ST are expected to be super critical of things, that is really what there job is, so not surprised that it is a point on the con list, but again, if you ride it for any period, that different feeling or odd characteristics, goes away and becomes just normal. When I jumped back on my 2-stroke with a "normal throttle", I know that I did not have some great sense of relief.....but to each their own.
  16. Aaron will need to adjust his riding style A LOT if he wants to ride it like he is used to riding a sled.... LOL All joking aside, good on him for putting his kids first and doing this for a few years while they grow !
  17. Checking all the boxes for the said insurance claim......
  18. Coming soon along with 0% financing.....just like with cars. The sled manufactures are still catching up.
  19. I am sure there an many factors that come into play that affect your field of vision......how good your eyes are to begin with (mine are getting bad ), the speed in which you travel...... , and weather conditions. As much as I like to see at times what is behind me, my primary focus most of the time is what is in front of me!
  20. That is possible I suppose, I know for me I have always used the mirrors that goes on your wrist in the past to keep an eye on the following sled in our group and never had that happen, yet. I figured for the small price of the hand guard ones that Doo offers, I would try that instead. I am sure the the windshield mounted ones will be much better given the field of view to see more & from what others have shared - just a personal preference and whatever works for you is what really matters Is that open house spin the wheel thing you mention for all dealers or just your dealer? I like that promotion.....would be great to get 50% off the accessories I ordered!
  21. Anything is possible when you have the right "incentives".....
  22. I ordered same sled and going to see if the stock windshield and side deflectors suit my needs first before I change anything. ordered the hand guard mirrors, like UTSD, I’m not looking to see much, just if there is a trailing sled.... if the person that’s suppose to be there, is still there or if I’m holding someone else up.
  23. Talk about sucking the life out of new sled / toy ownership..... lol
