Unreal! The gov't needs to jump in and start mandating access for some of this stuff. Multi millions of tourism dollars are about to be lost. With it the TAXES!!!! C'mon Ontario gov't do something. I'm willing to bet the QC gov't doesn't let this BS happen. We need to model our system more like the Quebec snowmobiling industry. Its huge dollars to the people and to the tax base.

Does anyone have any updates on this? I see it is still red on the ITG. Also, the C is red from the cut off north of Timmins to SRF. Always run the loop from Timmins to SRF to Abitibi to Cochrane and back to Timmins for a day ride for almost 500km.

My problem is that many others in my group have either given up or have other commitments so I have nobody to ride with.

My daughter got her snowmobile operators card when she turned 13. She has just recently turned 16 but has not started down that road yet of getting her G1. The question I have is now that she is 16 can she legally cross highways etc? She has always done so, but not really legally as per her permit. Also, Timmins has recently allowed use of some streets but must be 16 years of age. Does she qualify with the snow vehicle permit being 16 now but not regular driver's license?
