    • The ship is going down. call their bluff. the savings is nominal and if that’s the deal breaker for you, you’re a loser, plain and simple.
    • Sad but true statement, PLC!
    • The only factor you didn't include is the number of marginal riders who would not buy at full pop. There may not be many of those in Muskoka but I belive it would be a signifigant number in Southern Ontario. Afterall their chance of getting caught free riding is almost nil.
    • In QC they (clubs and province) see and embrace the sport, along with many other outdoor activities, and continue to funnel the required money to support the system - not perfect, but better.  of course their riding area has a much higher percentage rate for success based on geography.  NB is where my brother lives and rides, from all I hear from him, they seem to have a better supported system and my understanding was it is heavily supported by the province.  then we have ON and just read many posts here by people inside and outside the circle and the implications or not allowing a modest permit increase to support a system in dire need.    yes, northern ON has better conditions generally, but still suffer the same short comings of the system the areas with less than ideal conditions suffer.    this is what makes me think this.
    • I was thinking same thing.  But liability if grooming our own trails today in non existent, lol.
