It's not what it's cracked up to be. If I had my way I just do land. No one wants to work in a chicken barn today. I have almost had enough myself. I finally got a good contract with a smaller processor. Hopefully I can keep this contract until I retire or die 😂. Still a chicken slave to who ever you are contracted too. 

Not buying any of my permits till December because that is when the price goes up. Worry about how to get my permits then. You said you are are a chicken farmer with quota, wait for the increase and pay for for both your permits then, you can afford it.

So what's everyone doing about permits at moment. Do you take,  tracked shipping or take your chances with regular shipping and hope strike ends in near future?
