I read the document again. It does say “Or Equivalent”. In the confusion I must have interpreted it wrong.
I paid $189.00 Cdn for 2.5 US gal or 9.7 Litres, $19.50 Cdn litre, personally I don’t think that’s a bad price. Going to look for a transfer pump so I don’t dump it everywhere.

After you sign saying you only use brp brand, you signed that right away. That's why I say it's not legal to do that. I would have refused. Even Polaris dealers aren't doing that yet.
BRP can not deny warranty because of oil brand used.
they can deny warranty Only if the oil used was not meeting minimum oil specifications.
Think about it. If they could we would have to use only manufacturers brand oil in any vehicle or engine you buy.
