They are out there. Lots of trails to take. Years ago I use to get stopped on sequin heading towards sprucedale hotel.  I seen them twice this year on sleds in my area. Both on Saturdays. When I rode hailburton in past they stop me on rail way line heading into village. Easy pickings there. 

943 miles and have not seen one single officer, but have also not seen a sled w/o a permit. Was in Baysville yesterday and 6 New York played sleds, all with full season 9FSC passes.

I just put my phone in the heated goggle bag, engine heat keeps it warm.

My son uses them all the time. Never had him complain they are too hot. Maybe ones you bought were out of spec and someone put too much chemical in them 🤷🏽‍♂️. My heated gloves broke so I be shopping for a new pair next year.
