Test road a 850 VR1 with Dynamic shocks. Crazy scary power compared to my 900ACE Enduro. Found the front end very twitchy and susceptible to darting. Ride was good, but disappointed in their 7s gauge system; does not show current OFSC routes, outdated maps by a couple years. Lot more handlebar buzz, expected that as its a 2 stroke. Definitely good at fogging away any mosquitoes in the area. Could barely get my size 14 Klim boots into the footwells, not high enough.
Don't want to sound too negative, but you can defiantly see how Doos have a better fit and finish, there was a new 24 in the showroom, you could see the rust on the bolts from it being outside.
Very light steering effort, haven't been on any new MXZ's but I heard heavy steering effort from the RAS front ends
Sold 233 hands, about 100 sleds showed up. Haven't heard the final fundraising totals yet.
Weather was amazing. Trails were awesome
Even had the opp show up along the way.
Laid 18 charges and 8 warnings
I run VES Extreme in my 9R & 850 & regular VES in the 650. My dealer still had some Extreme left a couple weeks ago & was able to buy a case. I stocked up a while back on the regular VES.
Thanks for report. These new polaris sleds are great. I love my 650 could use abit more snap in certain conditions. In powder they all use more fuel. On trail these new engines are amazing on fuel. I got over 1000 kms on my first jug of oil (3.6 L or something like that) Are you running ves oil. Dealer low now I could only snag a few L last week. Online I can't find it now either, on Canadian site 🤪
I have to try shell advance again I suppose.
