    • Not a full restaurant but there is a new place in town called "Rise Wellness" they have converted the chuch next to the Valumart into a multipurpose space and during most days (not sure of the exact schedule as I am not in Hornepayne anymore) there is a coffee shop running and they always have some baked treats.  So not a restaurant but a place to get out of the cold and have a hot drink at least.    For overnight guests I have seen that Odette, the manager of the new Studio 6 Motel is putting some options together to ensure no one goes hungry.
    • Temperatures are looking great for the next 2 weeks in the Orillia area.
    • Blizzard here, 30cm today into tomorrow. The cold days have moved off a few days. Last week of January looks like my furnace wont be shutting off. lol
    • Thanks. Does the Esso station still run one of those hot dog rolling heaters? 😁 Yup, our group does the day trip ride to HP for lunch. Heads up that the Compian hotel has made us "box lunches" in the past, if the temp isn't too cold to have a trailside lunch. Just saw a post from the HP club, working on food. Also saw this from the hotel in HP. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DHPsjVBeZ/
    • My exact experienced as well Sksman.   Received my vest and was pleasantly surprised at how light it is.  Fit great under my suit and have had it out for a couple rides.  I feel safer already!  Glad I waited for this ultralight version, shouldn’t be too warm on the mild days and in summer for other power sports.  Personally choice, but comfort isn’t compromised.
